I rent a Mountainview home. Our closet shelf just came crashing down in the middle of the night. 1 screw was used for installation and a nail gun. This shelf is about a meter and a half long. I am not a carpenter, but I know 1 screw is not enough to sustain a closet shelf. I stored my clothing, shoes and handbags on this shelf... you know, things that you would expect to see in a closet. This townhouse is 4 years old. I'm afraid of what is going to happen in my kitchen! I have also gone through about 2 dozen lightbulbs in the last 2 years too...

We've been in our home for 25 years. From the initial visit to the sales office, during the construction of our home and the following years of living in it the Mountainview team has provided us with with a great place to live. Only giving 5 stars does not seem to be enough.

All I have to say is that I am regretting buying a house from this builder. Poor workmanship, terrible communication and lack of responsiveness to customers defines Mountain View Homes. We have been following up with them for the last 9 months and they have upset us every single time by lame excuses. Believe it or not, this is not just a complaint or review - this is a legitimate concern that has been ignored by the builder continuously. We have contacted multiple staff members, multiple times over these months. Their promise of so called "partnership" and "being part of the family" isn't materializing anymore. The sales team here definitely bamboozled us by portraying us as they are the best. Unfortunately, nothing of that sort has happened. We have highlighted this construction flaw in PDI which has not been addressed yet. To our utter shock we have major issues in the living area ceiling roof and they tried fixing it multiple times with no result for 9 months. What began as a minor issue has become a big bubble now including our full scale anger.My house is presently occupied by tenants and it has become a nightmare for them to adjust to our continuous ceiling fix request to accommodate the timings matching to the service team. Their service team has failed till now. Needless to mention, my tenants have a small baby and it's extremely difficult for them whenever a fix is happening inside the house. I am attaching a picture of the living room ceiling here as well. Look and review if my concerns are legitimate or not.I am so pissed that now I have to take the position of "Onstage Complainer" and choose a venue like google (probably other platforms too) and expect to get a response from mountain view here - publicly. As an off stage complainer, my concerns were never addressed appropriately when I used channels like emails to front line team, phone calls, responding to surveys, through builders' websites etc. - but they never fixed the issue till date.I have never been treated this way by any employee of any professional company ever that too at the very first instance of your association with the company. For highly rated companies like Mountain View Homes - to condone such behavior doesn’t say much for the reputation of the company.

I have built with three different builders and my favourite is so far mountain view homes - I built in cherry ridge Gillian was our sales rep and Rob was our construction manager and they were both excellent and the after sales help with Marc was on point and completed with accuracy - I’d choose Mountainview homes again any day

I have nothing but good things to say about the Mountainview group, as they are very helpful and professional. Special shout-out to Karen as she made the closing process very smooth and stress free. Would definitely be looking to buy from Mountainview!!

Very clean and neat job sites, Homes are very level and square, I install cabinets for them With ease and pleasure. And they are the only builder that I know of that has pizza day also ?

Not only are the people great, the product is outstanding, and the process from end to end is second to none. I have worked with multiple builders and this is by far the best experience I've had purchasing a preconstruction home. Thank you for all your hard work. It is truly recognized and appreciated!
