Nice guys - they answer the phone and had transparent price for tire rotation. Also they accurately estimated when the job would be done (ex: come back at 10:45). There’s a park across the street which is a nice place to hang out while waiting

excellent honest garage. they warn you what might be coming, how much life is in something before you need a change, what you can go without or options in parts when available. prices are very reasonable as a result, lower than the chains or dealerships, and good value overall. phone to check the hours because they might vary day to day. Closes early on Saturdays, so if you want to do the weekend, book ahead as that may be popular. Especially if you need much work done, and they have limited hours, so you may be best to try the weekdays to afford them more time. But call ahead to book a time or check how busy they might be booked. they specialize in japanese cars but they've handled my cars from other nations. if you are not a stickler for OEM parts but want some cheaper options than factory, definitely give it a try.

I was there for the first time a few weeks ago for winterizing. The guys at Toho were really nice, what a difference compared to the Mazda guys that I've been dealing with for 3 years. They offered to drive me to Centerpoint Mall while the car was being worked on so I didn't have to wait there for 1 hour. They called me back when my car was done to pick me back up. They recommended some additional service (front brakes, etc..) but told me that I didn't need to get them done right away and recommended that I come back to get it done in a few month's time. The Mazda dealership that I went to in the past would have used a scare tactic and told me that I needed to get it done right away or else my car is going to break down right away. If you are looking for an honest mechanic, go to Toho!
