The engine warning light came on, so I visited, and after waiting for 3 hours, the result showed only the message that appeared after connecting the OBD (something I already knew), made an unprofessional conclusion that it would take several days for repair, and charged me the cost of connecting the OBD machine.
Without a specific estimate of what needs to be replaced and how much the labor will cost, they just vaguely tell me to leave the car because it will take a few days for repairs. How can I leave the car for fear of being ripped off?
Absurd.
The receptionist was unfriendly...

Very good mechanic shop. Was experiencing bad power loss and excessive downshifting in the automatic transmission particularly when going uphill. And the fuel economy was becoming terrible. The mechanics properly diagnosed it as the catalytic converter, and not an engine or transmission problem.While such a part is not cheap, my wallet was not taken for a ride on a wrong or unneeded fix to the problem, as it might have been at another shop. Plus the staff and mechanics are very nice and patient with questions. Never fun to deal with a serious car problem and the ensuing deprivation of its use. So it is good to find a mechanic that is very honest and competent. I recommend Sum Kim Auto highly.
