A good grocery store in World on Yonge featuring lots of international food items including Chinese, Japanese and Persian
I had a grocery list that I normally need to go to two places to collect. Was hoping to get as much of it as possible at this supermarket. World on Yonge is a convenient location as I visit my doctor there or pick up my medication.
So I decided to check this supermarket out and to my surprise, I could find almost everything I was looking for.
It’s also clean and neat and the cashier was also very quick and helpful
Will definitely shop here again

My first time coming to this groceries,for the reason is long weekend open grocery shop is limited,i checked my receipt when i back home if my items is complete,I saw they over charge me,I bought only I pack of shrimp and the cashier charge me for 2 packs…not a honest cashier…I have the proft receipt and the items…very disappointed for the first time I coming in this store…

The vegetables and fruits are great. Both fresh and cheap and extremely diverse. The day we went there were 28 types of mushrooms!

There is quite a bit of stock here, mainly Asian food so it's not a conventional grocery store, if that's what you're looking for, it's very large with lots of choice, the grocery store is in a residential complex so for the people who live there these very accessible without using the car.
The best way to get to this grocery store is to use the underground parking lot, the grocery store is directly on soul-sol 1.

First time coming here and place is located underground which is great during rainy days. Their selection is extensive and great prices! Would definitely recommend coming here.

Jiale Supermarket has a wide variety of products, including fresh fruits and vegetables, as well as good meat and seafood products. The prices are moderate and there are discounts every week. The service is good.

Came here this evening to grab a few items Food Basics didn’t have.
Pros: one stop shop for everything. They have a LOT of stuff. Veggie and fruit selection was abundant
Cons: messy store, eggs were stacked high in 30s packaging but not refridgerated?? I was trying to find some chicken wings and thought they had it in the meat windows, tried to speak Cantonese, mandarin and wiped out Google Translate because I got frustrated. The meat guy pointed to the fridges. Some meats looked alright but others were defrosting despite being in the fresh section?
Prices weren’t cheaper than other Chinese grocery stores in the area. I’m curious to know if they rotate their products.
