I bought a waterproof pouch at this store. When I returned to my hotel I noticed a clip was missing. I brought it back to this store the next day. I was told "no refunds". The cashier said their policy is "no refunds" even if it's defective. I then asked for a manager. The cashier reluctantly called the manager and then asked me to step aside so she can help "customers". I said I'm a customer and I need service and would wait until they addressed my need. The cashier called the manager again asking the manager to come more expediently. How long were they going to make me wait? The manager came and was as unprofessional as one can be. She looked at the broken item and told the cashier it was broken and grunted if I wanted to exchange it. I said yes, and handed her the unbroken one I picked up. There was no concern about all the time I wasted standing in line or the false statement that a sale can be final if the merchandise is defective when sold as new. This was one of the worst retail experiences I can recall. I just hope this is a one off and other Dollarama stores adhere to reasonable levels of service that a low end retailer should provide its customers. I didn't expect specialty retail service levels, but basic service levels along with professionalism. That's not too much to ask, even from Dollarama.

Obtaining my destined relic was simple enough, this store provided an organized layout. However, an underlying menace permeated the premises. The numerous safety precaution stickers displayed upon the front door as you enter. The guard, stony faced as he asesses the probability of an unknown calamity, being afoot.A large sign declaring that, "YOU, are being recorded by video cameras".Yes, the tension was reflected upon the faces of the patrons and employees alike...SOMETHING precipitated these conditions, but what?

The store has a relatively smaller size in comparison to other branches but theyve effectively used the limited space available to them. The number of parking spots isnt ideal considering the number of shops present in one plaza but I got lucky when I visited this location. The organization of the store is adequete, but at points in some aisles, some shelves were so messy. One or two aisles had almost half of the shelves completely empty which I didnt know the reason to. Lastly, employees couldve been more patient and professional. When I entered, I came in only to buy one thing and get out. I went straight to the three cashiers that were talking and laughing to ask where I could find my intended product. I was surprised to see the look on the cashier's face as if I disrespected her by interrupting her discussion.

some of the staff are rude and unhelpful . I shopped at this store approximately 1:45pm on Nov 30 2023. one of the staff was very rude to me for no reason. She turned her back and walked away when I was asking her a question about one of the items. later on at check out when she was working the cash register she was impolite again. I hope the management deals with this issue. ( the lady wearing a head band)

Never have I felt so discriminated ever. I believe this is a black owned or managed location, and I have never felt such discrimination as a woman of colour myself. As soon I stepped in, I couldn’t even shop in peace. It’s one thing to believe someone is stealing and another thing is to accuse. I understand the economy is really tough and there are people who are struggling. But to wrongfully accuse and suspect a woman with children shopping really crossed the line for me. This black lady literally shopped with me the whole time I was in the store to when I checked out!! I felt VERY uncomfortable. in my PERSONAL space. She was walking with the store’s scanner to pretend to stock the levels on the shelves, but she kept looking at me rudely. I did not have a comfortable shopping experience. If loss prevention is a high number in your location, I suggest you hire an actual loss prevention merchandiser or perhaps security. This lady basically came to check out at the cash register with me. I paid for all my items respectfully. There was no “stealing” here. The next time you shop here, beware. They literally judge you as soon as you walk in. Wrongfully suspect women with children of shoplifting, unbelievable. Staff wasn’t friendly, as most Dollarama’s they’re customer service is great. This location LACKED customer service. Oh and did I mention the black lady, didn’t say anything to me at all. But was next to me the wholleeeeeee way to cash out. So uncomfortable. Will forward this complaint to the higher up. Y’all need to improve the customer service sector here and to not discriminate.
