One star to customer service.
I made an online purchase that included many small items. When I received my order, I mistakenly didn’t check to see if everything was in order. Later at home, I realized that several items were missing. I returned to the store and explained the situation, but I had to wait for over an hour while they resolved the issue.
In the end, the store deducted the value of the missing items from my points balance, which put me into a negative balance. Now, when I make further purchases, I don’t earn any points; instead, I have to pay off the negative balance caused by the points that were incorrectly added.
This is the first time I’ve encountered such a solution to a problem.

I bought new michelin xsnow winter tires in Sep 2024. I go to the mechanic and thankfully he pointed it out that the ones canadian tire sold me were from 2020. OLD STOCK. 4 year old tires going to 5 years. That is a safety issue especially for winter tires. Now i have to go return them

I had a great experience at the Canadian Tire outdoor department. Mohit, a big guy who was very knowledgeable, helped me find the perfect lifejackets and water shoes - he took the time to ensure I found exactly what I needed. The checkout was fast, though adding a self-checkout option could be a nice improvement. Overall, excellent customer service and a smooth experience; Highly recommend this location

While the store itself is a bit crowded and the store staff are helpful, the two stars is for the auto centre. The staff refuse to speak to each other in English in front of customers and are extremely rude. They have made us wait for them for 15+ minutes while they type away and have no one else in front of us, even with two people working the desk. I recommend people go to a real auto garage where customer service is the focus.

I did use the lockers which was actually a smooth experience but a shout out to all the friendly people at the refund counter and the cashier.

I had a mixed experience at this Canadian Tire store. While they have a wide selection of products, I found the layout to be confusing, making it difficult to locate what I needed. The staff was not as helpful as I had hoped; I had to search for someone to assist me, and when I finally found an employee, they didn’t seem very knowledgeable about the products. Additionally, the checkout process was slow, which was frustrating. Overall, it’s a decent store with potential, but I think there’s room for improvement in customer service and organization.

I came to this store to return a non-working grill, and they refused to return my money to my card, they forced me to immediately exchange it for something. They said that each Canadian Tire store has different rules. The woman who works at Kostomer Service was rude!

The manager of the store declined to give his name and lied about his first name. When I was leaving the store, he and his friend showed us MIDDLE FINGER. Unbelievable.

Tried to return never used lawn chairs, but as it turns out I can't. There was no warning on the tag in this store. And manager refused even I explained that I wasn't informed properly, and that chairs weren't used at all.
