Have been shopping here for a couple of months now. Each visit takes me an hour to drive there and an hour to get home. Just got home, and I will never ever shop here again. I phoned the night before and was told they had the fish l was looking for. Went in and waited about half an hour to get served only for them to tell me the fish are not for sale. Girl, was helping a customer, so I waited. She told me to go to the back corner, and the guy there could help me. He was on his cellphone and told me to go back to the girl. Spoke to the guy in charge, and he apologized. Now, this is the second time this has happened. The employees need customer service training. Anyway, no more Big Al's for me. I do not recommend this store or the Vaughan location. Pathetic service at both stores.

Has decent selection of both fresh and salt water livestock. I prefer this branch or the one in Mississauga when it comes to goldfishes. There’s also some great sales for corals here.

They’re never update the inventory, I came from Etobicoke to buy a Cabinet and they didn’t have it and in the website it says they have 2.

Gary is an absolute delight. He made sure we were taken care of and tended to our many of question. The team was very friendly and knowledgeable. We also had another gentleman assisted my husband in tank size+lids+sand+filters for an extended period of time. They even offered to assist us in bringing it out to our car. This was North York location. We are an hour and a half away and this is the service I would pay to go back to again.

The shop offers a wide array of aquarium-related products, including tanks of various sizes and features. Their collection is impressive, featuring both freshwater and saltwater species, including guppies, gouramis, clownfish, and cichlids. Additionally, they have a 25% in-store discount on corals. This location specializes exclusively in fish and aquariums, and does not stock items for other pets. Despite its modest exterior, the store is quite spacious, with clean, well-maintained tanks. The selection of fish and aquatic life is outstanding, and they also offer unique tank decorations, such as a battleship ornament. The overall experience was delightful, and we highly recommend a visit, even just to enjoy the impressive array of aquatic life on display.
