I've frequent this established a few times and I've had pleasant service with the staff and the owner as well. I've witnessed other people at the counter being rude and disrespectful to the staff. I've been part of the service industry as a ski lift operator for 24 years and dealing with people can be difficult .

This Esso is a joke. Store hours are listed as 7am-11pm but they definitely don't follow those hours. They were closed Friday night before 10pm and it's 7:45am Saturday morning and there's still no sign of anyone. I've seen three cars pull in for gas that had to drive away.
It doesn't surprise me this place gets so many bad reviews. If you need gas or snacks go somewhere else!

Echoing a few other comments, some of their staff shouldn't be in customer service.
Went to pay for gas, their system went down, lady proceeded to blame me even though I used cards from separate financial institutions and prompted me to use the ATM ($4.50 charge) for $25 in gas and when I said I don't want to pay more for fuel than I am she proceeded to go off on me.
Then their ATM froze and locked my card inside.
After a good little argument (that cost them a customer waiting to buy fuel, hilarious) I waited for the owner and discovered their system was down, I was at no fault whatsoever.
No apology from the woman, not a thing.
This is the one and only time I'll step foot on that property. Garbage.

I recently visited this gas station and had an excellent experience. The station was clean, and easy to navigate. The pumps were modern and efficient.
What truly stood out was the friendly and helpful staff. They went out of their way to assist me giving me tips about the village, as I’m not from the area . They ensured I had everything I needed. The convenience store was well-stocked with a wide variety of snacks, drinks, and essential items, making it a one-stop-shop for travellers.
Looking forward to stopping in on my next trip to Blue Mountain.

Not sure what these other people are talking about but the people who work there are fantastic. Clean, nice setup, feels family run. Work recommend grabbing your gas from there if you are heading to the hill.

The lady working there is the rudest person I ever met in my life. Went there to buy a drink and asked to use the washroom. She started screaming at us without any reason. Not appreciable. I hope the owner realizes that he is losing his customers because of her.

Not open past like 6pm or something(definitely not 11pm lol), phone number doesn’t work; definitely the LEAST reliable place for gas in the blue mountains.
