When will head office for pet smart listen to the thousands of pet owners who constantly provide constructive criticism about their unsafe products and selling of small rodents? Please STOP selling hamster cages that are below the min 750 square inches of floor space that’s recommended by animal orgs around the world. Please STOP selling hay based hamster food that slowly STARVES hamsters to death since they don’t even eat hay. I will continue to discourage all my clients and patients from shopping at any petsmart until they do better.

I have been taking my dog yo petsmart for grooming for years. My dog is a maltese mix and has very fine hair that mats easily but the mats do come out with some combing. 3 months ago, we brought him in to get groomed and to my absolute horror, he came back shaved! They told me they could not get the mats out..which surprised me because they have never done before. I brought him again for a groom on Friday and specifically told them NOT to shave him down. When I picked him up, it seemed ok but when I got outside I noticed they had shaved ONE back leg completely down to no fur! I called them to ask why and they said his one leg was matted so they shaved it! They said if I wasn't happy, and since they guarantee their cuts, to bring him back and they would shave the other 3 legs to match!!!!! I can honestly say I was speechless. I told the manager that I will NEVER bring him back there again! DONT BRING YOUR DOG THERE!!! so unprofessional!! Imagine shaving one full leg and leaving the rest! When I looked closer I noticed more shaved spots here and there. It looks like a 4 year old took the shaver to him! Disgusting!!

Make sure you do your homework before shopping. Basically had to argue with an employee about what they stock in store. Long story short. I was right she was wrong. Was followed by a
"guess I learned something new today"
Don't argue with customers.

Joelle did such a fantastic job grooming our 6 month old Cockapoo. This was his first haircut and they were so excellent with him and so reassuring to me. You can tell that she really loves what she does! Thanks for turning this milestone I was dreading into such a positive experience!
