Our experience switching to Whiteman Telecom has been excellent! Leanne in the office, and our installer Jamie couldn't have been more pleasant and helpful. Jamie was fast and efficient during the installation and then took the time to explain the new products completely. Thanks so much, Whiteman!

Devin has just been and gone, setting up internet, TV, and landline. He was competent and very pleasant to deal with, clearly explaining the channel packages and equipment. We are very impressed with customer service and overall business approach. Would recommend.

Switched from a big cable company over to Wightman fibre for our internet in Stratford. The technician that came out went above and beyond for the install in my opinion - ran the cables nicely from the box in my basement to my upstair living room. Everything looks great!The service so far is impeccable. We were having drops in our connection with the other guys - several times per day. Wightman is running perfectly. I would recommend.

So far, experience with Wightman has not been positive. Technicians cut my existing Internet provider line even though locates done. Since I work from home, I cannot work now. Technicians advised they had contacted provider to advise of cut line and get a temporary line. Next day, contact Wightman to enquire on status of cut-line and when Wightman would be out to finish their install was told: 1. I would have to contact existing provider to report cutline! and 2. no idea when Wightman would be out to install their service.After wading through existing provider horrible support matrix, am told the soonest they can fix is 7 days from now!so is Wightman going to reimburse me for lost wages by not being able to work because their technicians interrrupted my existing service?!?!Will update post as this journey progresses but seriously, not a positive way to start. And a word to Wightman, if your response is "sorry to hear that, please call us", don't bother. You already know of this situation so you should be fixing it and contacting me.

I have been using Wightman for internet for about 5 years and have had very few issues - so much more reliable than the previous big cable company. The fibre is fast.I just signed my Mother up for cable, internet and phone. The cable pricing plan is unique as we don't have to buy a gargantuan plan to get the channels she wants - just the basic cable and pick 5 others from their full listing. They were very responsive to our having a short window to set her up.When I said we couldn't transfer the phone number because she is moving area codes which is a bit sad because she has had the number for 60+ years, the customer service rep found a number with the same last four digits. My mother was tickled. Kindness matters.

We have been so pleased with the great customer service we have received with Wightman's right from the beginning when we first moved to Stratford 5 years ago! We have our internet, landliine, and TV cable services through them. Every time we have been in contact with Wightman's for a question or any issues we might be experiencing, they are so helpful on the phone...you even get to speak to a real person!! They are always so knowledgeable and walk us through the process to troubleshoot....AND, they even call back a few days later to follow-up and confirm that everything is going well. That's what we call GREAT customer service! We would highly recommend Wightman's to anyone who is looking for a great internet provider in the Stratford area.

I strongly recommend you look for a different provider. I have had Wightman for about a year and a half and the internet has not been good once. I am on my 3rd or 4th router. I can not watch a TV shower over 30 minutes with our having it buffer, and almost every day around 2:30 pm I need to reset the router because it gets supper slow.One person I talked to in IT said because my Speed test comes back good then my internet is good, yet it still takes about 10 second sometimes, evening longer, for a website to load.

Service/Support team to the rescue! Complete gratitude to the (Stratford) team members that turned what would have been chaos into an absolute win in my books.My partner and I work from home and consistent/reliable internet is crucial. I feel confident in the services provided by Wightmans and look forward to recommending them to neighbours/friends in the area.Switched from Rogers 500Mbps/30Mbps to Wightmans 100Mbps/20Mbps and hardly notice a difference (Latency is excellent!). If you have many heavy multimedia users in your home, consider the 250/500/1000Mbps plans.To the staff that made the magic happen, thank you. 5/5———-Edit update February 12: Excellent service. I work fully remote in IT and the internet speeds are more than sufficient to do my job and thus far have been exceptionally reliable. I know a number of people in my street who are using the big Red company and their internet goes down quite often.Check this company out. Locally owned internet company and excellent speeds/service. I’ll do another update next fall.

Just switched to Wightman in Stratford for home phone and internet. Between my in office interaction with Leanne and the installation tech Ken C. I have been thoroughly impressed with the high level customer service provided! Leanne was a gem, took the time to explain the various plans, and the tech Ken was extremely polite, took the time to show me the install and test all components. A++

We had our new internet & tv setup by Lee yesterday, and wow did he impress. Knowledgeable, polite, and constantly went above and beyond.Wightman is excellent, but their employee Lee was perfect. 10/10
