“What a great neighborhood convenience store! I have been coming here for the past 15 years, first as a summer time visitor to Burlington when I was visiting my sister and her family - then as a resident neighbor when I moved here 9 years ago. What amazed me was that even when just visiting in the summertime, the clerks would remember my kids and I by name. My son at some point asked about a certain soda pop and Sam went and started carrying the brand purely on his recommendation, as it then became a best-selling product for the store in multiple flavors. They always have the time for a quick chat with you and will always give you a friendly smile in return for your patronage. Highly recommended without a shadow of a doubt!! ?”
“The best, freshness pita daily from sanabil and brick oven..Priced right on brick oven compared to no frills on rymal and Sherman.Daytime cashiers, Mina and Karen are the Best..Always helpful, smiling and knowledgeable if you have questions about products.The 2 ladies making fresh bread in the morning always says hello.The store probably has the biggest array of middle Eastern products in Hamilton.The fresh meat manager is the same, friendly, knowledgeable and always happy to cut to your NEEDS.Manager Mary should be proud of her staff ❣️?”

“Sam and Jaz are amazing. As well as the young ladies too. Everyone is very friendly. They always go out of their way to ensure that I don’t leave without questions. I knew Sam when he used to work over at Zellers and Chloe as well, before moving to Metro Pharmacy. Sad Chloe is gone, and has moved on up to another position.”

“I live near the Upper Gage Metro, however I make the drive down to Centre Mall Metro. This store offers MUCH MORE of a selection in grocery items, fresh fruit and vegetables, meat and poultry and seafood. Their seafood section is amazing! I purchased a HUGE ass freshly steamed lobster this summer for $10.99. This is the only store that sells Brazilian Picanha steaks ( top sirloin steaks,) however they don’t offer them on a regular basis. I wish they would! ?. Metro Centre Mall is definitely worth the drive down the mountain!”

“SO update I continue shopping here 1 to 3 times per month and continue to find great deals - hotdog weiners for less than $2, large fresh calabrese baguettes for $1.49 -- left with 3 bags of groceries for $45 -- unusual these days!! Great value for your money. I enjoy shopping here regularly. Could be a supplier issue, but a little disappointed recently that flyer feature items, i.e. Campbells Soup (other than chicken noodle) and Schneiders Bologna (BB date was 3 days from now) were unavailable. Could just be that these items are snapped up quickly with the increase in food costs...??♀️”

“Note: I had originally given a two-star but service at the store has since improved. Cashiers try to be nice by like asking how our day was. However, they make it appear like they are being forced to ask. It's quite the turn off. The look on their faces is of total disinterest.”
