DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE.
TLDR: This shop had my car for around 3 months, lied to my face multiple times, tried to scam me for unneeded parts, and are generally horrible at communicating and dealing with their customers.

Tried to get a safety with them and if everything isn’t absolutely perfect on your car it will never pass here. Do not recommend getting a safety here.

I have had nothing but fast, good and fairly priced services at Equipfix. Most recently I was able to have my car assessed 15 minutes prior to the shop closing for the day. A ball joint was required for my vehicle. The part was ordered and replaced later that same week when I was able to bring my car in without having to take time off work to do it. I asked if both ball joints needed to be replaced at the same time. I was told that the second one would need to be done eventually but I was not upsold on doing it immediately. Part used was of better quality than the original part that came with the car new. Cost was better than the local garages in my town so it was worth the slightly further drive to Equipfix to get the repairs done.

Water pump on my diesel pick up started leaking 2hrs from home on the Friday of a long weekend. Another garage said they couldn’t help me and sent me here. They moved stuff around and got me fixed up right away and on the move again. Thanks to them we were able to salvage the weekend. Can’t say enough good about them.

Believe the other reviews. Apparently they don't keep proper customer logs. I have visited 2 different shops in Ontario in the last two years and finally come across an honest one. This isnt it. Stay away. 5k and nothing done. Your safety is at risk using them

Paid over 5k for service to my RV. Husband insisted that there was an exhaust issue and a pump issue. They had it for over a year, both issues were untouched. They said it was good to go for a long distance trip and it was't. Horrible shop.

Believe the other reviews, equipfix is very shady, took my daughters car for a safety and they came up with a pile of things that don't have anything to do with safety, and parts that we're not broken, starting with a bill of $5000, I have experience in automotive, I would not trust them as far as I can throw them !!!!!

Be very careful of this establishment!! I took a van here for an alignment, they said it was missing steering components and would require another visit and more work. FALSE! ( How could we even drive it?) I have taken it elsewhere to have the alignment done without issue! NO parts required!Do NOT trust these guys

Worst experience I've ever had with a company ever! I dropped off my vehicle in December and was told I would have it back start of April, I just got it back and now it's July. they broke my key and tried to tell me it was like that when it arrived and failed to give me a quote until days before I hade to come pick it up .their communication skills are non existent and it has been nothing but a stressful long tiresome mess from the start I will never go back to equipfix in stayner and I suggest you avoid them aswell
