Staff over there is incapable to do pass the cheque. I had to pass my cheque, went to the bracnch two in a week but didnt cash out tge cheque because brach lead was on vacation so they hold the cheque for two week. When contacted the customer care they told me the malnger is on valction thasts why the staff didnt have acees to pass cheques deposited through Atm. When we deposit cheques through Rbc its fast and convenient. I fell very nervous because I needed that money urgently. Its a bad experience.I had to wait 14 days to get the money. I woudnt recommend cibc anymore.

Incompetent and rude one of the ladies there working. Had me sit in a beat up chair that was hurting me. Aswell I was getting money order checks and the woman that was doing it could not find my receipts that was detached from it and I kept telling her I didn't get them as she was telling me she gave them to me. Eventually she found them as she had put them away in another pile after waiting so long for her to find them. No apologies from her. She was annoyed though. The worst cibc branch I have ever been to. I rather go to London to do my banking. 1st time here and I will not go back. Incompetent workers here at this cibc location.

I love the CIBC ATM'S as it's super quick and private!!!!! WARNING..... ALOT OF TIMES DURING THE DAY AND ALMOST EVERY SINGLE NIGHT THERE IS ONE OR MORE HOMELESS PEOPLE WHO NOT ALL BUT MOST OF THEM YOU CAN TELL ARE HIGH OR ARE COMING DOWN AND DESPERATE FOR MONEY!!!!! THEY WILL EITHER STRAIGHT OUT ASK YOU FOR MONEY OR THEY WILL PRETEND TO BE SLEEPING AND WHEN YOU WALK BY, THEY STEAL IT OR THEY WILL STRAIGHT OUT ?% SIMPLY THREATEN WITH A KNIFE/GUN ECT OR, THREATEN TO BEAT YOU UP IF YOU REFUSE TO GIVE THEM MONEY THUS ROBBING YOU!!!!! ALOT OF PEOPLE WILL NOT LIKE THIS POST BUT, I AM SIMPLY EXPLAINING THINGS IVE SEEN FIRSTHAND HAPPEN THERE!!!!!

I don’t typically do this but enough is enough. This CIBC branch continues to provide the worst banking service. It starts from the top to the bottom. If you have issues with the service, the manager does nothing, no return calls as many reviewers have pointed out. I’m willing to accept a good reason for the issues but none is provided. They continue to treat us like sheep and hope we will forget about it and move on. Well, hopefully this review will help others avoid this bank and it’s issues.

Another one star terrible service review. Went in to contribute to an RRSP. Was told they couldn’t do it at the branch and to go home and do it on the phone. Went home and was told that I had to attend at the bank. Went back to the bank and spoke with same representative (Mike Johnson), who then said I had to bring my spouse in for her to do it, and that he couldn’t print the forms off to bring home to sign. Asked to speak with manager and was told she was on lunch. My spouse had left a message with manager an hour earlier to be called back, and four hours later still no call back. Mike Johnson apparently needs more training in customer service and exactly which products the bank will provide in person. Manager seems to have a hard time calling customers back, as this is at least the third time that she doesn’t return our calls. We will be transferring our business to RBC, who bent over backwards to provide us the correct information. Will also be changing our business account over as well, as it seems every time we need assistance of any kind, the “person that we need to speak with” is either on lunch and doesn’t call back, or is on vacation, and then doesn’t call back either. Poor service ratings seem to be a recurring theme on these reviews. Writing review because this has happened on several occasions, not because of today’s experience alone.

Horrible customer service. I made an appointment over a week ago to set up bank accounts for my teenage sons and we arrive for our appointment to be told the system was down. No phone call or notification was made to let us know. I told them I had let them know I was travelling from out of town for the appointment and a phone call would have been appreciated but apparently that is not their problem. Their lack of consideration for their customers speaks volumes.

I’m giving 1 star because it won’t allow me to give 0. I was very disappointed at the treatment of the staff at this branch. I brought my sister and her husband to open an account here. As newcomers to Canada I thought CIBC was a leader (it is advertised that Spanish is one of the languages offered at this location). Stephanie, the advisor barely made eye contact with my sister and her husband, didn’t have a genuine interest in them or their situation or why they where even at that meeting. Customer service at its worst. At the end she told us in a very condescending way that unless she can read it and understand it, she can’t use the documents, I asked for help, for suggestions.. and all she said was the same thing. The entire meeting she probably said 4 full sentences. Maybe it was not worth her time, opening accounts for newcomers or maybe she assumed they didn’t understand any English. We went to Meridian, we got everything we wanted done with a great service.. all in under 1 hour.

Just want to want to say how Amazing (Darcy) was at this branch. I had called about an issue with my Visa that wouldn’t get resolved over the phone.I came in to see her and she went ABOVE & BEYOND to get me the resolution I needed.She remembered our conversation from the previous day and knew I had to be at work at a certain time and she GOT IT DONE.I don’t bank with CIBC but have their Credit Card through Costco.She treated me like a VIP. And she didn’t have to do that at allThanks Again Darcy

The staff here are incredible. They have always made sure I was taken care of and check in on me every so often. I have dealt with Stephanie Haynes for years and she is always making sure my banking is up to date and I’m getting the right things I need in my stage of life. She goes above and beyond. She works hard, they all do and they try to make sure everyone is taken care of correctly. Don’t always shoot the massagers people they can only do what they can with what they have.
