This place is terrible. Now that we go to a real trainer, people are appalled when we tell them of this place. I would say the rudeness of Sabina Gross toward all members of the class was only the secondary reason for the one star. The first reason was her OBSESSION with us getting a prong collar, despite Clearly saying we would not be using one. She then continued to talk down to us and say "it's going to be a lot more work and you'll need some upper body strength". Well, then I guess she's not a very good trainer... My favourite part of the class was when we walked in circles in a gym learning heel for an hour, which was not only boring for us, but was extremely boring for our dog. She made her dogs do a down stay for the full hour on the hard floor. About halfway through, her shepherd decided he was tired of that and got up, so she stopped the class and walked over to him. He then started crouching down, his head went down, and his tail went between his legs, she got to him, she gave her prong collar a hard tug downward with the leash, which I'm sure didn't feel very nice, and then when he still didn't lie down, she did it again. Clearly her dog is not trained without a prong collar as that was her only method she used for training. Anyone looking for a rude trainer, a prong collar, and a boring, pricey class should go here!!
EDIT FOR OWNER - as much as I appreciate you trying to infer this review is fake, I’ll happily forward all emails from you AND Sabina (who did indeed work at NDT Ltd, as you mentioned to me when you messaged me on Yelp asking me to take this review down) to ring some bells for ya! The funny thing is, I was going through and deleting old reviews, but I think I’ll keep this one up now.

Pack Walk- was a very organized and supported walk with trainer helping guide and making sure my pup and I were taken care of. I really enjoyed it, and so did my Pomsky, Kai! No judgement with beginners which I am so grateful for. Can't wait to go again!

Cat Cino and Dave helped my family with my Golden’s resource guarding. He is almost one now and yes still a teenager ? But a wonderful loving pal my family loves so much. ❤️

Our trainer Ian took the time to talk to each person and answer any questions. Our dog Loki is learning his boundaries and how to walk beside another dog without invading their space. It was a great experience for all of us.

I have been working with Serena in 1 on 1, in home training sessions with my puppy, Sadie. She has been so great with teaching us both new techniques, letting me know what I've been doing right, and where I need to make adjustments or changes. I've found her help to be so beneficial! My little pup loves our training sessions now! I also participated in a Pack Walk, which NDT offers as a free service! We had an amazing time. I felt safe and comfortable being in a large group of people and dogs, knowing that the trainer, Ian, was there overseeing everything, and offering help and advice when he thought necessary. It was a great experience! I'm looking forward to joining more pack walks in the future!

My experience with NDT is limited to their new Pack Walk Bootcamp. In just 2 sessions there's already a big difference in how my dog reacts when in the presence of other dogs (and in how I handle him). I love that they always ask for feedback so they can continuously improve their programs. It's clear that the people who are Niagara Dog Training truly care about dogs and have a passion for helping us to help our dogs.

I'm so thankful we met Ian from NDT. He invited us to a free pack walk and offered to help me with my reactive little dog. The difference in her after a few walks is unbelievable, Ian is incredibly patient, calm and so knowledgeable. We're working our way into a group class and without NDT's support I'd still have a barky, reactive dog but now she can walk with a dozen dogs with minimal barking and fear. It's shown me what's possible when you find the right trainer.

It is always a great opportunity for my dog to get to socialize with other dogs, keeping some distance as she is still reactive but she comes down as the walk goes on and she gets more confident.I appreciate the guidance of the instructor who is very knowledgeable and patient.

My partner and I were hesitant about starting training as we had no idea what we were doing! We had the pleasure of working with Nick and his handsome dog Jaxon. From the beginning, Nick was super easy to talk to and was very helpful. Our dog took to him immediately and every session she got more used to Jaxon ? We were impressed at the simplicity of the training and how casual it was. Some training sessions are very formal and strict, and this was the complete opposite. We will definitely contact Niagara Dog Training for all of our future training needs! Thanks again NDT and Nick (and Jaxon ?)

I brought my husky puppy here for basic training, and the instructors are great! I love that they have two instructors with the class - that way if one dog is misbehaving, they can get one on one attention without the class being interrupted for everyone else. Ian and Nick are great teachers, and I've definitely learned a lot from them.

Don't waste your money. I continuously provided feedback to the trainer Cat and the provider. You tube it , you puppy will learn better. It's a rip off. Money back guarantee doesn't exist - no one even called us after even writing an email.
