This isn’t the best LCBO in St Catharine’s but it does have all the standard selections for beer, wine, and spirits. The $$$ spirit stock is decent, and the Vintages section is very good.
Lots of parking around, and I’ve found the staff generally courteous and willing to help.

Incredibly rude cashier named Janette. Was on her phone, leaning on the counter, when we came up, and proceeded to be rude to myself and my mother when cashing out. Practically yelled at me when I went to carry the box for my mom, then got offended as I made a face for her yelling at me. As far as I know, it's not illegal for someone under 19 to carry alcohol that is unopened? (I'm not underage and do not look underage, so it shouldn't matter.)

I was the fourth ave and vansikle Rd LCBO when I was proceeding to the checkout I went to grab a box to put my products in and the clerk proceeded to tell me not to touch the boxes she will do it ( trying to control me) I walked away from the boxes and waited for my son to finish with his purchase when she asked my son if he had a Aeroplan card he said no so I said you can scan my card and she asked me if we live in the same household I told her it was none of her business ( control #2 there is no need to know personal information for scanning a card) she told me she will not scan it and I asked why she said it was policy (never in my 28 years of purchasing alcohol have I ever heard or seen this policy) we then continued to argue back and forth she the pulled a Karen hit the security alarm and made a big scene and said someone come here I can't deall with this I am done another employee took her place and he didn't want to scan my card either he said people have got fired for scanning the aeroplane card I have never heard of this ever happening I feel that my feelings have been hurt I may have to take this a little further for defamation of character and loss of gas wear and tear on my vehicle

Was at your Fourth Avenue and vansickle location just now, and I'm pretty floored by the way I was treated by the manager in this store in relation to an incorrectly priced item.The store had a full shelf of Signal Hill Whisky tagged at 39.99. I suspected this to be in error, because the shelf was stocked with the Signal Hill Special edition whisky which is usually priced at 59.99.I brought it to the attention of one of the staff on the floor, who verified that it was tagged incorrectly. He thanked me, then told me I could have 1, and 1 bottle only for that price, and gave me the tag, and told me to present it at the counter.I took the tag, and when I arrived at the counter, only to be completely admonished by the manager as though I was trying to take advantage, and she then proclaimed "this is not a grocery store, you can't do that here" with a lineup of people behind me.She pointed to the tags UPC code, and told me it was totally different, and that they weren't going to discount it such a large amount.The staff member who offered it at said price came to my defense, but both myself, and the staff member were scolded loudly and publicly in front of all customers to see.This is reprehensible behavior on the part of the manager here. I didn't expect anything when I presented the wrong tag to the staff member, in face I was just bringing it to their attention, but after I was offered it at that price, I believe this should have been honored.The fact that I, and the staff member were verbally reprimanded loudly in front of the store is completely unacceptable.Date and time of occurrence, Friday Jan 26th approx 5pm

My recent experience at this store left me with mixed feelings about the level of service provided. The floor supervisor, whose assistance I sought, was exceptionally helpful and accommodating to my specific requirements. However, my overall impression was tarnished during the checkout process.As I approached the cashier, I couldn't help but notice a discrepancy in the acknowledgment of customers. The cashier warmly greeted the couple in front of me. My presence seemed to go unnoticed when I got to the cashier, and wasn't acknowledged at all. Before I could gather my purchase, the cashier had already shifted the attention to greet the lady behind me.In a service industry, the significance of greeting customers should not be understated. When there's a selective acknowledgment of individuals in a queue, it raises concerns about the consistency of customer service.
