“Back in April of this year I switched my banking from a big bank to the Meridian Credit Union on Lake Street. I couldn’t be happier with the decision to make this transition.

Starting with meeting the manager Justine, to having an appointment with Davis to get everything going, I couldn’t be more impressed with the staff at this branch. They were polite, professional, and really cared about my banking needs. The rates and fees were also very competitive, which was nice to see.
The products were as well. The infinite visa cash back card is a great credit card.

Although I bank online, I also like the fact that I can go into the branch when needed. Everyone is so helpful.

“We have dealt with RBC Dominion Securities for a number of years. Specifically, with Investment Advisor, Angelo Meffe, and his team members, Scott Jarvis and Andrew Sardis.Angelo is exceedingly well-versed in finances and financial planning. I always look for someone, no matter the business, who is well-prepared for meetings, can answer questions without beginning a sentence with, “I think…,” and, overall, knows what they’re speaking of.I am confident when I ask questions of Angelo, Scott, and Andrew, that they know what they’re doing and have prepared documents ahead of time, without wasting my, and their, time searching for things, or not having documents at hand. It seems trivial, but it never instils confidence when the “expert” is running around while you sit in an office waiting. You won’t find this with Angelo Meffe.Some time ago I worked for a number of years in high profile law firms in Toronto and on the west coast, as well as in the computer industry. Professionalism isn’t limited to knowledge, it also encompasses punctuality, preparedness, courtesy, and manners.Last summer, I had to rely on Angelo’s expertise heavily and I can assure you, he was professional, knowledgeable, polite, and never once spoke in a condescending manner when I asked a myriad of questions. It is obvious that Angelo takes pride in his profession and I know that he keeps his clients up to date on their finances, as well as providing us with information that builds our own knowledge.I also had to deal with one of the large Canadian banks last summer and they were not nearly as knowledgeable, or 100% confident in their answers to what I believed were standard queries. I don’t like that, nor do I think these individuals ought to be advising clients when they are not always correct answering standard queries. I felt it was a hit and miss when I asked questions and found myself researching for myself before I asked individuals at the bank.It was akin to seeing both ends of the spectrum: Angelo and his team fully versed in financial planning, while the bank (it wasn’t RBC…) felt amateurish. Fortunately, at my bank I found two individuals who did know what they were doing, but others? Not so much.I can wholly recommend Anglelo as an Investment Advisor without reservation.”
