I encountered severely neglected road conditions on Route 21 while heading towards the Southampton Rona. I would strongly recommend avoiding this area if you care about your vehicle's alignment and rims. The road quality was subpar during my short drive through the downtown area, with sunken grates and substantial ruts. The road surface also displayed a patchwork of past repairs, which were quite evident.Rona it self is a small store with limited inventory, online showed stock N/A on arrival short on staff. Hard spot to be in retail for quick consumable items like nails & fasteners competing with next day shipping on line. Hard to predict when some one will be visiting your hardware store looking for nails. Ended up in Tara they had stock & available for pick up.Additionally, it appears that the local community is facing some challenges. The roads are in a state of disrepair, and I noticed that most of the downtown retailers were closed, even though it was only 3 pm on a Friday.*I don't usually leave bad reviews.

The Rona store in Southampton is the best hardware and lumber store in area. They go above and beyond to help customer . Excellent skilled and professional customer service especially people works in lumber area. keep doing the excellent work. Thanks

The wood has been much better to work with than other nearby hardware centre's. Very pleased. Most of the supplies we needed for our project were in stock and staff were friendly and helpful.

My wife and I recently stopped by the Rona in Southampton looking for a countertop for our newly renovated kitchen. We talked to a very friendly and helpful employee named Heather. With the help of Heather and Andy the counter was ordered and delivered quicker then we expected. We were very impressed with the level of customer service from start to finish and would highly recommend this location. We will definitely use this Rona for future renovation needs. You guys were the best!!
