Excellent location, welcoming staff, and a recent swap for a PS Vita made for a wonderful encounter. However, I would advise you to research other stores before making a purchase or trading. The same console was being sold for around 200 instead of 240 at another retailer. Since the store was pleasant and I was in a bit of a hurry, I ultimately purchased the ps vita. I exchanged a somewhat beat-up, new 3Ds XL with a iPS screen for this psvita with a 64 GB SD2vita and 4 GB Vita memory card alongside $25. the extra $25 was a bit unnecessary, I should have shown them the listings of other stores. Nevertheless, I would still suggest them over other game retailers as they care about there buyers. Will definitely come again!

Always super nice and passionate owners/staff who enjoy helping people out. We've purchased amiibos, controllers, and games. They have a great collection of official products. Can't recommend these guys enough!

I was visiting Toronto on vacation when we discovered this gem of a shop! As someone that worked passionately for 8+ years in retro game stores, this is it. There was a lot to like about this place, and it’s easily my favorite in this area now.
-Prices in-line with price charting, very fair.
-Very passionate and knowledgeable owners.
-Additionally, very kind and welcoming.
-They don’t buff games that don’t need it.
-Additionally they do buff games at your request.
-All games are tested via software for integrity.
-Accommodating w/ condition & changing cases.
-Very clean and organized.
-All product kept in-store and not sold online.
-Incredible stock. Staples and rare finds.
As someone that feels like they have most of the games they want there were definitely at least 3 games I didn’t have and had been looking for that just never appear in the Upstate NY area.
We also kept them a few minutes late (Sorry again, fellas. That’s our bad.) I do want to mention that they were very kind and patient with us through that as well, and were still super helpful even though we kept them a few minutes past. (And they didn’t have to be, I wouldn’t blame them
If they weren’t.)
I’ll definitely be telling all the homies about y’all, and be sure to visit every time I’m up here. Thanks again, Retro Bros!

Amazing store! The Retro Game Bros are so nice and even provided me with recommendations on other stores to visit in my search. They have a great collection of games from all systems and their prices are all reasonable. Highly recommend visiting if you are looking for retro games!

Would give 6 stars if I could. A local family game shop run by two ACTUAL brothers, the name is legit. I used to love A&C Games downtown but this place blows it out of the water in terms of customer interaction and overall warmness and honesty (not to put one down over the other, just want to put my experience in perspective).
Traded in some old original Xbox and PS3 games gathering dust, along with some GBA game manuals. I collect loose GBA games and consoles, not the manuals, so I was surprised to hear that they were the most valuable part of my trade in as I honestly didn't expect much return in general. Walked away with both a GBA game and Switch game I've been looking around for for awhile, and my friend picked up Nintendogs on the house. It's awesome to come in and truly feel like you're in an institution not just built on business-knowledge, but love as well. I'll be back in the future to replace some batteries in my GBA Pokemon games.
This place is the best, I wish I had more time today to sit around and chill. A Scarborough gem that must be supported at all costs for and by local collectors. I found my Mecca. Can't wait to come back.

These guys are the real deal. Retro game bros is an amazing store. The atmosphere inside is awesome, tons of interesting things to look at. They have an amazing selection of games that you're unlikely to find anywhere else. I'd definitely recommend checking this store out if you're local. They've earned every single 5 star review that their customers have left.

One of the best place in the city to find rare games. I can spend hours here looking at there games. Super friendly optimistic staff. Highly recommended to all to visit.
