Came here for a grooming service during their Yappy Hour. PetSmart is one of the only stores in the area that does anal gland expression, but the tech who was there warned us that their method is 100% effective, and I appreciated the honesty and being upfront. They told me that they wouldn't charge me if nothing came out too and they stuck by what they said. Whoever you were - you're a real one!

Should be zero stars if possible. I spend hundreds of dollars on pet supplies each month at this store, and the manager refused to take a return on a pack of doggy diapers.
I do not own a dog (cats only), however my partner has a puppy that just started her period. I asked not one but TWO store employees what diapers to buy for the dog describing her and stating clearly it was for a period.
They sold me diapers for a male (I did not know there was a difference). Apparently the anatomy of the male and female dog requires different kind of diapers.
They refused to refund me my money even after explaining the situation to the manger. She said the back the receipt says they don't take refunds if opened. The diapers were never used just opened to see if they would fit on her. Not even the adhesive was removed on the diaper.
As a matter of principle I will no longer be shopping here. Do not listen to the advice of the employees they just want to make a sale and don't care about you or your pets. Same goes for the managers, after explaining the situation she was completely unsympathetic and kept referring to the back of my receipt which looks like a 6ft long legal document who has time to read all of that?

Disappointing experience at the William Kitchen Drive branch. Took my dog in for a nail grind and trim. They have a 2pm-6pm offer on called 'Yappy Hour' where you get $5 off the service and no requirements for making an appointment. I went in a few minutes past 5pm, only to find no groomers around. On enquiring with one of the staff, I was told that the groomers had left for the day since there were no appointments scheduled. This was rather frustrating since the website and ad clearly stated 'no appointment needed' and the timing from 2 to 6pm. But the staff said the groomers usually leave if there are no appointments scheduled. So you've wasted my time and have misinformed customers through your ad. Why state 'no appointment needed' and then not stick around for walk-in customers? Also you have that massive poster of the exact same ad right outside the grooming entrance promoting your ' Yappy hour - 2-6pm' and then just leave before time? A store manager then came and told me that one of the groomers was sick and had to leave, and so they shut shop. This obviously came across as an attempt to pacify a disgruntled customer, since a different staff member stated that the groomers leave early if they have no appointments scheduled. She also told me a manager from the grooming section would be in touch with me the following day. No one called! So yep, I'm not going to waste my time on this location again. Disappointing to say the least!

Let me start with Grooming, We love Isabella, she did an amazing job with our BichonPoo, bath and haircut. I highly recommend her. She's very informative when we first take our pup, showed us what kind of blade to use, what kind of style etc.. she took good care of our pup.
Doggie Camp- Our pup loves going here. at first she was shy but after that she couldn't wait to go in. I can tell that she 's happy here. The staff are friendly and nice, and give us report when we pick up our pup, how I wish they give us update during the day as well.
Hotel- first time we used and our pup. and she was good. I like the fact that they walk them before they go to bed. I will definitely use the hotel again.
My only negative here is that they don't have cam or link that we can see how our furbabies doing. They don't give you update during the day, although we can call them and ask but it will be nice to have an update during the day as well. I just hope this will change in the future.

Terrible customer service. Did not offer any assistance and will no accept my PetSmart reward that’s expiring. They do no pick up their phones.

Stephanie was a great help when it came to DoorDash messing up my same-day delivery order!
Some how the address the DoorDash driver was given, was not the same address that I entered on the Petsmart website when I ordered my stuff.
After calling DoorDash support, they didn't help much, so I called PetSmart 5 minutes before closing and Stephanie was able to ensure I would get my refund processed. They called me back a few minutes after closing to let me know that the refund has been processed.
To avoid this situation again, I asked Stephanie if she could make sure the next driver that delivers this order has the correct address, and she was more than happy to help!
Although the order ended up being fulfilled by a different location, I appreciate the 11/10 customer service provided by Stephanie.

Went here almost every month to buy my cats food. Today I dont want to use my membership discount yet and she said she might have another voucher discount she ran to grab them and yess am lucky they have discount voucher. Other people might not bother to look for it but she was super nice..

This PetSmart offers lots of variety of pet products. I have 4 cats and a dog so I visit this location quite often.
The price is not the best but quite affordable. You must pay attention on their website (petsmart.ca) because whenever the website has promotion such as 15% off site-wide, the price online would be 15% cheaper than in-store.
Otherwise, it is a great store for pet lovers like me.

If the grooming salon writes down a discount on your invoice, MAKE SURE to check if the cashier saw this and included it in your final bill.
Because my dog was anxious and wanted to go home, I didn't pay attention and TRUSTED the cashier to have seen it in the invoice I handed to him.
Upon reaching home, I looked at the receipt and noted that the $5 discount given to me (handwritten on the invoice in blue ink) was not reflected on it. So I called the store.
Stephanie, one of the store managers, told me at first there was nothing written in the invoice. I insisted seeing it so she checked again. And this time, she confirmed it is there, saying it must have been another Duke's invoice she saw earlier.
Her excuse, "it was a human error."(That he didn't see it, duh!) And in return, she will give an additional $5 (for a total of $10) which I can use at my dog's next salon visit. (I don't think it can be applied at other branches.)
If however, I take the time and drive back to the store to have my discount of $5 credited back to my account, Stephanie will not give me the additional $5 discount.
See the trouble you may have to go thru when you go to Petsmart #2009 (12 William Kitchen Road, Scarborough). Their error, you pay for it.
So very disappointed with my experiences at these 2 Petsmart branches, Kennedy Commons and Pickering.

I recently took my Barbet Oscar to get groomed at PetSmart at Kennedy Commons (William Kitchen Road), and was absolutely delighted with the job Aaron did on trimming him! I confess I am quite particular when it comes to trimming Oscar, as the barbet should NOT look like a poodle or a golden doodle. Aaron followed my instructions on trimming a French water dog (barbet) to a T, in addition to doing an excellent job of getting out some mats that had built up in his undercoat. Thank you Aaron!
