Government shouldn't have a monopoly on spirits.Prices are 50%-80% cheaper in the states.But the staff is pleasant and there's a good selection.

Would give a zero if possible. I was just here minding my business looking at rums with a friend (who also happens to be black) and a worker comes up to us randomly and asks for our ids, when we haven’t even touched a bottle yet. We decline then heard an announcement for security. We make our choice and head to check out, where security is waiting along with the worker who stopped us. He was telling the guard that we had things in our pocket and to check our ids. We showed them we had nothing in our pockets and the worker still insisted we did then brought security to check the cameras. As we were leaving I even heard one of the female workers laugh. Very disappointed that I can still be profiled in a neighbourhood i’ve lived in all my life.

Cash out is usually fast. Good selection of wine! Clean, bright, well stocked store.

They dont have common sense. They cant predict age by seing his/her appearance. How a newly arrived immigrant can have government issue physical ID.

Usually quick service, no issues. But sometimes they will ask for ID which I just never understood because I'm 30 years old.... have better judgement. I have a full face of beard and dug in eyes like a 30 YEAR OLD. MAKES no sense. What's the point of growing up ? Matter of fact I'll look exactly the same at 40. So I still show ID at 40? That's ridiculous

The staff is pretty sweet and helpful. One of ladies helped me out with picking out a wine for me(her favourite) , Loved that one. They have a wide range of soju here so its my go to place and the hours of operation are comparatively longer, which is good.

This is our regular LCBO. lots of parking and the staff is very friendly and helpful! They had in stock several wine recommendations from their wine magazine. We just had Maison #9. Beautiful rose bouquet especially for summer dinners!

You go to the beer cooler room and they never have any cardboard carrying cases. I asked the lady and she said they keep them at the front cash. So I walk up to the front of the store to the front of the line and request one. I asked "why not keep them with the cans in the cooler?" Answer: "because too many customers use them and they go quickly."Only in a government run store where service and metrics for success don't matter...

The one cashier deserves a negative star for treating my Mom horribly. She came home and was so upset. The old man cashier asked if she wanted to pay credit or debit and she said debit. He put it through as credit so it declined (obviously) and he said to her “it’s declined move along” and gestured for her to leave. Treated her like she wasn’t worth being there or that she didn’t have the money to pay, all simply because he didn’t put the transaction through properly. It’s horrible to treat people that way. My mom is one of the sweetest humans.

Bright and open, clean, and signage easily visible from everywhere within the store. Selection is same as all LCBO stores, prices too. Staff is knowledgeable and friendly, ready to assist if required. Service is quick despite the busy location.

When I am in Scarborough, I mainly go to this location. It is a nice size location and has a great selection. I rarely can't find what I am looking for. The staff is helpful if you are not sure how something tastes or if you are looking for a new suggestion. It's in a convenient shopping area with many stores such as Walmart, M&M Meats Shop, Bath and Bodyworks, and more.

Check your receipts because the system will over charge and on the receipt it will say VOID, so the cashier says it's Void, that's why there is an extra transaction showing on the receipt. I asked to re-check all the bottles and scan them from the beginning and realized I got overcharged by 25$. Check your receipts, the manager will just state nothing I can do for the inconvenience and ypu waiting for all of this to be cleared is just your waste of time. Their system is overcharging
