Hard to find a good honest mechanic nowadays, so when I was recommended to Hide Auto I was skeptical. I am not sure how to spell the owners name but I call him Ewan ?and he’s as real as they come- honest and fair. I have visited his shop on two separate occasions and both last minute jobs where he was more than willing to accommodate me. I also sent my son there to get his tires switched over and again was last minute on a Saturday morning! Where most mechanics will give you a price and it’s usually what you’re going to pay and maybe even more, I was shocked when I picked up my work van and the initial price he had given me on the phone was actually $40 cheaper when I went to pay- he told me there were a few things he actually didn’t need to do that at time of quote thought he might have had to do and in turn saved me money. That’s something that usually never happens at a Mechanic shop. Give this place a shot if you need some car/van work done and you can thank me later.

Don't like to write poor reviews but frustrated after needing to redo jobs done just a few years prior that should have lasted much longer. Found plenty of shortcuts taken. Reasonable prices but maybe I got what I paid for.

Very pleasant experience. Good volume of inventory on hand, no wait time for delivery. Took the time to test the new rad before installing. Definitely knowledgeable and well experienced, both the owner and the technician are real pro to deal with. Highly recommended..

Alternator installed and a oil change. I was very pleased with my experience. The staff Was friendly and knowledgeable. It surely beats the dealership. The prices were very good. I will return for my car care again. Thank you Hide auto.

I highly recommend this shop. You will find a 1st class honest mechanics here.They specialize in Japanese cars; however, three is also an German engine specialist.

After bringing my Honda to Hideo, I will not let any other mechanic touch my car. He has incredible knowledge of Japanese cars, very fairly priced, and quick turn over.Very happy to bring my car here again. 5/5.

I took my car to my regular mechanic for an engine swap. The car came up with issue and my mechanic said he can’t fix the problem.Not knowing about the problem I received a recommendation from a friend to bring the car here. And let me tell you. Not without a doubt I can say this is the best shop to go to. My car was fixed after being in the shop for 1-2 weeks as there was a lot of diagnostics to do. Touching another mechanics work is tough and this place really delivered. Glad I came here.Would recommend and and rate this as top 5 mechanic shops in GTA.
