“Highland Farms is an amazing grocery store. Everything from the produce to the meat section is fresh, clean, and high quality. The store is very well maintained and honestly one of the cleanest grocery stores I’ve visited.

“Skip the popular Diana’s seafood merchants and get your fresh off the plane from Newfoundland lobster here. Their store is everything on a down east shopping list. The lobster prices are very affordable. I got mine precooked(they need some notice ) piping hot from the steamer. My family has been shopping here for 50plus years. Their is a reason they are still in business all this time. Get your lobsters here. Guaranteed fresh with the he best price.”

“This is our go to place for Gujarati treats such as rotlis, puris, thepla, chevdo, ganthia, and peira. Pricing has steadily rose but is still reasonable for what you are getting. You can call ahead on bigger orders and pickup.”

Edit: There is a girl working here thay doesnt deserve her job. Every single time i see her she is standing still, doing nothing in the cart paddock. Just holding a broom and dustpan making it look like shes sweeping when she is literally doing duck all. Fire her please.”
“Stopped by Himalayan Store at Lawrence & Kennedy and had a great experience. Nice local grocery with lots of Himalayan and South Asian items, fresh spices, and snacks. Staff were friendly and prices felt fair. Definitely coming back.”

“Sometimes I buy the ready to eat food here, basically dim sum next to the grocery store. While not as good as the grandeur dim sum, it isn't bad either. Great for snacking later.”
“Good vibes!This location is operated by West Indians. I love that they pre-portion and shrink wrap the meats, which are kept frozen. I think this is a clever approach to handling raw foods during the Pandemic. I also love hearing the reggae music and people speaking Patois in the background.”
“As a customer, I’m really happy with the quality of the fruits and vegetables. Sometimes I go to walmart and the prices are outrageous and the fruits are horrible! Here, the fruits are guaranteed to be sweet and tasty. I got a pomegranate box around 2 or so weeks ago, and when I say it was THE MOST delicious fruit ever. It was red and the juices were overflowing, it was incredible. I bought pomegranate from nofrills and they were rotting..
Overall, I’m really happy. I’m glad a store like this exists, I save money and get to have fresh produce whenever! The meat is also very fresh, I come early in the mornings and I see fresh meat straight from the freezer. The meat is always fresh and neatly cut, I love the ground beef, it’s perfect for making dumplings.”

“I didn't believe some of the prices I saw here. A friend told me to go here when I was planning to go to another shop and I went and went back again. Some of the prices they have are cheaper than used items in value village and the things are new.
Now you see why it was hard to believe the prices. Go here, don't delay, get off your butt now!!!”
“Had Snowdonia imported cheese and fondue - delicious and hard to find. Vegetables were fresh, hummus was perfect, pitas were some of the freshest and softest I’ve had, good selection of pickled middle eastern and mediterranean condiments, olives, etc. Prices were ok, similar to metro or a bit more upscale. Going to start shopping here more often.”
“Some of these reviews are valid and everyone is entitled to their own opinion. But I must say that the staff at this location are very accommodating and very knowledgeable about what they sell. Even if I felt as though I was being annoying for asking questions lol. Thank you so much to the kind workers and to who im assuming is the manager/ owner for being helpful as well as hiring such amazing staff. I’ve been in a couple of times and have seen new faces and each one served excellent service as well as amazing snack recommendations. The everything cashews are now a new staple in my life!!”

“OMG! I don’t know where to start. This was the best afghani store in the world. I tried the bread and it was so good best naan I’ve ever had. I tried the bolani as well and there both so good. Also the owner is ver nice and welcoming. Great customer service and everyone is so nice. If anyone is thinking to go you should definitely try the naan and bolani. They have a new sheer yach and it is amazing. Definitely a hidden gem it was so good HAVE TO TRY IT”

“Lovely customer service, clean, spacious (big enough to be socially distanced and feel comfortable while shopping), great selection of products, and easy to get to/easy access to street parking. Oh, did I mention how amazing the empanadas were? We ordered both chicken and beef, and my only regret is why I didn't order MORE! So tasty. I love that this is located close to home and that they offer all the Peruvian essentials I need for cooking. Lots of sweets, peppers (dried & frozen), sauces, etc...My new go-to place! :) Highly recommend, and don't forget to grab some empanadas!!!!”
“This year I have noticed have noticed food prices are not sky high, as in actually being able to buy most food pre pandemic, pre record profits!
I still won’t buy the things that have doubled or tripled in price.
The sales are good, unlike most stores.
I now come here because this store has great staff, down to earth clientele, ( working people who don’t have money).
It’s usually very busy but the plus side is the things I need are in stock.
Bread can be found for prices that aren’t ’bread price fixing prices’ too!
Am now a loyal customer.

“Lots of free parking. This store usually has an abundant supply of fresh fruits/vegetables, assortment of fresh meats and fish.
Just know what you want and DO NOT ask the employees for help. This store is in Canada but employees do not speak English AND there are no signs at the front door that says you are on your own if you do not speak Cantonese. Sad but true.”
