Was visiting the GTA for the weekend, and stumbled across this awesome place. Great finds at prices that match market value. Don’t be afraid to ask the employees any questions regrading pricing.
The prices fluctuate on some of their products, that’s why everything isn’t labelled with a price - for those who are complaining in the reviews. I found a couple of amazing Knick knack finds and a couple of PS3 games for a very reasonable price and the employee that helped me was willing to make a bargain or two that was beneficial to me as the customer, with the vendor still able to profit and keep the place going.
Great place, will visit again! 5/5

update to my review to drown out those 3 tools that left the same review over 1 thing they deem a slight inconvenience. ive been coming here for years and the place is one of the easiest game/toy stores to deal with. owner and his family are very nice. they look up prices on spot and then slightly undercut the price, shouldn't really be anything to complain about. they still sell card singles instore which is getting harder to find in hobby shops. they have a large selection of games which can be easily viewed and anytime ive looked for a game they didnt have in the display it took all of about 15 seconds for the employee to confirm if they had a copy or not. i come here for the cards and its always easy, nothing to complain about, good selection, frequent sales and they do things that show you they want you coming back to the store

This place has a lot of kool games, consoles and accessories. The staff also seemed friendly but that’s why I’m leaving 2 stars but I wasn’t impressed with the lack of prices on any of the products in the store. I had to ask the staff for each price case nothing is clearly labeled at all. Someone from the staff pulled out their phone and checked some website to determine the price. Felt very disingenuous and left me not really wanting to shop there. not 100% sure but I think it’s illegal not to have prices displayed on your product within Ontario. I’d recommend not shopping here if you’re into video games or a collector.

Everytime I come into the store to browse, nothing is labeled with a price. I understand how much product they have but it makes for an inconvenient customer experience and I often leave with nothing. The gaming stores and pawn shops down the street like Retro Game Bros, Swap Shop and Buy and Sell Kings have everything labeled with a price. I'd rather go there because I don't have to worry about asking the price for every game. I also don't have to go through the mental gymnastics of worrying if I'm getting a good deal or not. The interaction of them looking up the price after the fact always feels bad. Sometimes I'm in it for the deal. It's nothing against anyone working there but I just leave with nothing every time I go in the store because it's too much of a hassle to shop there.

Huge inconvenience that none of their games are labeled with prices. I have to ask what the value of each game i was interested in, instead of just a simple price tag on the product. The reason i was given for the lack of lables was because prices constantly fluctuate. Why is every other video game store new and retro all have labels attached to them? Makes you wonder? Are they willing to go that far to penny pinch?

Been there in the past upon walking in immediately realized all the games don't have prices. Any other store you go into will clearly have places displayed on the product. Upon asking what the prices were for things the gentleman at the front counter would go into the computer and check the latest prices on price Charter or eBay for all I know. Completely put me off from the whole experience and will not be returning. Not sure if it's illegal to have prices not displayed on products but just seems like a scummy practice in my opinion. Don't know what justification the owner came up with, but whatever lame excuse it's clearly just seems like a cop-out to justify his actions and making as much money as possible.
If you're into video games or just a collector in general I'd avoid this place at all costs unless you like to pay top dollar. Part of the hunt it's scoring things for a good price and that's one thing you won't find here are good prices.

Pros - large selection of games, decent location, games are relatively in good condition.
Cons - no pricing labels on games, nor are prices consistent. I called in previous to going and the owner told me they don't do prices over the phone, kinda rude and lazy but ok. This was completely new to me. But since I was close to the area might as well check it out. Walked in and named a few games, I thought he was going off price charting but, everything was like 30-50% more. Owner seemed annoyed but, how's it my fault if you don't have any price tags on any of the games? He's also selling games on FB but his prices do not match those in store and when I asked for the same game my buddy had a few weeks ago he was charging me almost 25% more. I'm actually surprised by the stores overall rating.

There was a wide selection of games in the store but it appears the higher quality ones were sent to CNE’s stall for better traffic.
I was looking for PSX and PS1 games mostly like Vagrant Story or Megaman X8. Some others like Radiata Stories, Parasite Eve 2, Megaman X Command Mission etc I didn’t see. The PSX and PS2 games were behind a counter so it was hard to see but they were nicely sorted in Alphabetical order so I was able to glance as much as I can.
The two in the store were great and helped as much as they could but, unfortunately, the items I am looking for are rarer than the normal games available on PS3 or PS4. There’s a huge table of PS3 games but I had my goal because I was looking for PS2 games that I lost during a basement flooding.
Overall, it’s a great place for hardcore gamers. There’s a lot of stuff but my leg was hurting and semi-disabled for now so I left after not seeing any PSX or PS2 games I wanted. I saw some NES and SNES games but didn’t check them out this time. It’s definitely a place you should check out for retro games or if you are a collector.
