Very bad experience ever worst staff don’t know how to talk lady was Indian and dollarama was about to close and she was telling everybody in her language to other staff and tell them to get out from dollarama.She don’t know how to talk with customers.

Very bad experience
Very rude and unprofessional staff
Charging for extra stuff and then speak very rudely.
Both the morning staff were same.
Also, they charge for extra stuff and then telling us to take the same thing not giving refund.
Even we have not left the store.
Still both employees were talking and speaking abuse language.
Whoever is the owner please check upon your employees other wise your business your own employees we destroyed it.

The staff were extremely rude, and there were damaged products displayed for sale on the shelves. After returning home and discovering the issue, I requested a return or exchange, but the manager refused, claiming that I had damaged it myself and that it was my fault for not checking at the time of purchase.

I bought a $25 Apple Gift Card from this dollar store, but it didn’t work — the system said the code was invalid or already used. When I told the staff, they had a terrible attitude, were rude and dismissive, and took no responsibility at all. It was a really bad experience. I do not recommend buying any gift cards from this place.

I was very humiliated by the cashier. I brought my full basket to the cash and cashed out. She waited for me to walk away and acted like I forgot something calling me back. When I walked back she told me to put the store basket that I used back......With my hands full, I asked her how am I suppose to do that!! She said to me THAT IT'S COMMON SENSE!! The store was full of my neighbors.....I don't work at Dollarama and therefore I do not need to return my cart or basket after use.....Please train your employees some customer service skills. This is why my teenager cannot get a job at Dollarama because RUDE elderly lady's are serving us poorly. She wouldn't give me her name and told me to come back tomorrow to speak with the manager. I took a video of her to show the manager the next time I am there. It's So sad Dollarama......DO BETTER!!!

The attitude of this manager is very bad. Today I bought a product, went home and opened the package and found that the product was broken, so I immediately returned to this store to request a new product. I don’t want to spend money and then throw it away before I start using it. What makes me most uncomfortable is the attitude of this store manager. As for why I returned to the store to request a replacement, it is because I listened to the experience of many people that they were able to replace the product at other addresses. After all, it was not me who caused the product to be unusable, but the quality itself had problems. I think this is a very unreasonable no-refund and no-exchange policy!

I would like to make a complaint about the utterly disgusting way this dollarama's manager treats people (July 31st, 2024 around 4pm Est).
Instead of a civil conversation regarding a change in store return or exchange policy, specifically when the items had been recently purchased and was in perfectly intact with packaging unopened, she/the manager made a whole public fuss about how people dont read the fine print.
These are the kinds of behaviours that really damage the customer experience.
As someone whose had experience in the retail space at one point I'm constantly surprised how this sort of behaviour is increasing being tolerated especially in Canada.
