Certainly not the place to pick up an online order. I ordered a heavy item for car pickup. This franchise does not follow the procedure outlined in Canadian Tire instructions... There is no way to get an item delivered to your car.
It is not rocket science to implement these procedures. Either the management is incompetent or does not care.

I returned to Canadian Tire on October 12, 2024, to address an oil leak coming from the transmission pan on my car. I had already had this service done there in January of this year (and it was still under warranty). They replaced the pan with a new one, extracted the rusty bolts, and installed new ones. I also opted to replace all the transmission fluid—although not strictly necessary, as part of the fluid stays in the pan and another part in the transmission’s torque converter, but I decided to have the full service done. I spent around $800 for this service, only for it to start leaking again a few months later.
This time, despite being under warranty, my car was inspected by a mechanic named Gabriel, and I was given a new bill, now for nearly $1000, to RE-DO all the services I had previously paid for. When I questioned why I would need to buy a new part, I got an ironic response: they would now use an original part since the piece they used "didn't fit my car properly." I asked about the warranty and keep asking questions, who seemed quite uncomfortable when I questioned everything, including the $135 charge for “seized bolts,” even though the bolts were new and almost shining. I started to disagree with everything on the quote, suggesting that it might only be leaking from the gasket, as we could see that the part was intact, clean, and showed no signs of damage or any other issues.
They kept coming up with more contradictory explanations (I previously owned an Car Center for several years, so I have in-depth knowledge in this area). Not authorizing the service, on my way home, I saw a small mechanic shop. I took my car there and asked the mechanic to inspect the oil leak without mentioning I had come from Canadian Tire. The mechanic lifted my car and showed me that the leak was only coming from the lower bolts on the pan that had loosened. He simply TIGHTENED THE BOLTS, one by one, in front of me, showing me that this was the only issue causing the leak.
When I questioned how they could have loosened, he explained that the original part is metal (which I knew before replacing it with Canadian Tire’s service), but the replacement they used was plastic. Although not common, he explained that this could happen due to engine temperature, the season (summer), and the part’s material (plastic). He tightened all the bolts in front of me, showing they were loose, and suggested that if it happened again, thread lock could be applied to the bolts but that this was all that was needed for now.
Satisfied with his honesty, explanation, and guidance, he charged me ONLY $50 for half an hour of service, compared to the nearly $1000 fraudulent quote from Canadian Tire. Today, as I write this review, 16 days after my visit to Canadian Tire, my car has not leaked a single drop of oil.
In summary, I was deceived by a mechanic who, even when I questioned everything, was supported by a management whose only purpose was to extract as much money as possible from customers. I paid more for a misleading inspection than for the actual repair. I was deceived, and I will never take my car there again.
I hope my testimony serves as a warning to those who take their vehicles there and accept everything on their quote. They make you afraid of problems that sometimes don’t even exist. In my case, trying to charge me all over again for a service that was still under warranty is calling me an idiot to my face.
They should be ashamed! Beware of quotes and always get a second or third opinion!

Be... careful with items on discount!!!
Got an item from the shelf were there were two mote items on a discount and when I whent to pay the price was double.I asked to verify the price as was on discount, and they say no, I asked to talk with with the manager, name Moo, and I was Very disappointed after I show him a picture from the shelf and the price on the label, he said is not their problem with the misplaced items! Apparently I have to ask for each item on sale individually and not trust their label!!
The staff was kind and respectful, however very disappointed!!! The price was $20+

I had a bit of a tricky return but in the end I was very happy with the level of professionalism and customer service received. The customer service folks deserve kudos for the challenging situations and people they have to deal with.

Terrible experience. I went to the store to see if they had a kit for a windshield chip, as well as browse around some seasonal products. I didn’t find what I wanted to buy so I left the store. As I was leaving, you need to hit a button to open a gate in a special lane for people not purchasing anything. Once I exited through that gate, a plainclothes guy who only identified himself as “store security” followed me outside and told me to step to the side and he said that he noticed I left the store without paying for anything. He asked me if I had any unpaid merchandise, which I did not. I asked him why he was suspecting me of that and he clearly had no answer and then he walked back into the store. Will never be back to this Canadian Tire again, clearly going to a store and browsing around without purchasing anything means you are subject to an exit interview by their loss prevention staff
