Bought a car battery at another location and was insured that I can return the old one with a receipt for $20 refund- Rylander location does not participate in this program if you didn’t buy from them - should have just went to Costco

Put an item on hold, spent almost two hours to travel to there, and they sold the item while I was on my way to the store. Waste of time and money! Customer service admitted their mistake but did not offer any remorse, discount or anything… hopefully other Canadian Tires will make up for my terrible experience at Scarborough East

Online order pick-up. I walked up to customer service to pick up my online order. Out comes an Associate after some time and chucks a large box with other stuff I ordered perched on top. "Come here, take this" and chucks the items into my hands. Goes away mumbling "take a cart, do whatever" when I asked if there was no cart available. Unprofessional, uncourteous staff at the Rylander location.

On August 21 2024 from 5pm to 5:51 I keep on calling them for like 7 times and I can't get hold to any employees they will gonna pick up the phone and they will gonna just say "please hold". Management of Canadian tire should take this seriously. They have a very bad customer service.

I went to this Canadian Tire to buy a rice cooker which I had been looking at for a while, but bought one that was on sale instead. When I returned home I realized that it was much bigger than I needed, so when I went back the next day to return the rice cooker (which had been opened but not removed from the box), they were happy to help and gave me my money back. The store was not busy so I was able to buy the one I originally intended to, and the staff were very helpful and kind!
