EDIT: THURSDAY DECEMBER 14TH:Chelsea needs to be fired ASAP. I was waiting to build my bear when she cussed out a customer. She said the r-word and berated this poor woman. I had the unfortunate time dealing with Chelsea after and she was soooooo rude to me. It was DISGUSTING. I question why I even bother coming here when she is working. How she hasn't been fired yet is beyond me. She deserves to be fired. Especially when I didn't want to buy a gift card for half priced or something, she swore under her breath and said holy sh-- just buy it. I'm definitely not coming here again when she is here.I have been coming to this location since it opened. Dan has always been very nice and more recently, I've been assisted by Nathaniel. He is a wonderful employee, my kids love his heart ceremony. He is excellent with kids and makes everything so much fun, very personable too.Now because Nathaniel and Dan are so great, I'm leaving this at 5 stars however my experience the other week with Chelsea was not great and almost made this fabulous kiosk loose stars, but Nathaniel and Dan carry the show. Chelsea was BEYOND pushy at upselling. I know what my kids like, I know what my budget is, I did not like how she kept emphasizing "the heartbeat is my favourite part of the bear," we don't need one and she doesn't take no without picking up an attitude. She is really rude. She made my kids a bit uncomfortable. What I wish you guys did was an online booking system so you could pick what employee to have an appointment with. Especially since Chelsea got frustrated when I wouldn't give her my personal information, I get enough emails, I don't need more. Nathaniel and Dan have never shown me that level of disrespect.

It was my first time at build a bear with my son who is 4 years old. Rachel assisted us and she was so lovely making it so special for my son. Especially helping fill the teddy and the heart ritual was a really nice touch. He loves his frog forest! Thanks

All of the staff here are extremely kind and do their jobs well :) love them. I love bab so much! my only complaint is that it isn't a full shop it is just a booth in the hallway :/ wish scarborough had a full location again, and the staff here definitely deserve one!! shopping on the bab website from Canada is a challenge due to it being glitchy and very pricy. i love being able to come in and get them at much better prices, chat with the employees, and get the building experience like when i was a child. fantastic. i come here way too much lol. love love love love it here

Staff was super friendly, also efficient! They don’t have all of the plush choices but they do have a lot, like most of the new arrivals!:)

Dan and Chelsea were the best!!! We built the bears with my friends for my friend Megs birthday and it was so special! Such a great time and Dan and Chelsea were especially wonderful to celebrate with! Thanks guys!

Went here for my daughters 3rd birthday to get her a bear. Staff Dan and Alexa were amazing and went above and beyond making a bear with me daughter! Definitely a great memory and highly recommend!!

Worst customer service. It won't let me return an item, still within the return policy n item still has tags on it. Salesperson won't even give me a store credit.

My son loves his birthday bear you pay the age your child is turning so if they are turning 5 you pay $5 plus tax.
