Expensive and I always have weird interactions from white staff where they make some sort of racist coment, like asking a 40 year old for ID when i clearly have grey hair and say she asks id from everyone, but clearly didnt ask for it from the white woman ahead of me or the white man behind me, only go when I really need something I can only find in there.

Close to home this metro feels like it has a nicer selection of foods compared to its great northern road location. they also have a garden section and had a perfect selection of roses and flowers. I was able to pick up a beautiful cake & flowers for my partners birthday. and prefer this location for easy meals for work. Staffs nice, stores clean. and more variety.

I went in to get a pork roast, and they didn't have any. For a big store, there's not much for a meat selection.

I came into the store at 9.30 pm where the store closes at 10 pm, and i wanted a helium balloon with red roses for my partner who’s coming to canada for the first time and they refused to pump gas into the balloon as there was no one to help, really disappointed with the customer service. Please make sure you give the full service until the closing time.

The racist attitude.
I want to address an incident that occurred at your store. Your staff's actions seemed to lack common sense, if not demonstrating underlying racism.
I've been delivering through Uber for a few months now, and my Smart Serve certification is active. However, when I received orders for alcohol at LCBO/beer stores, they didn't ask for my ID (despite being near 30 and not looking young).
Yet, when I shopped at your store at Churchill Plaza, the cashier asked for my ID and even for my companion's ID, despite them being of age and not appearing young either. I tried explaining that I was the driver and it wasn't a personal purchase, but the cashier didn't listen and instead yelled at me to leave the store.
This inconsistency and attitude are unacceptable. I've decided to never shop at your store again, not even for myself. It's disappointing to encounter such treatment.

I love Metro for its amazing coffee machine, but recently it broke. It's been over a week, but the machine still hasn't been fixed. Once it is working again, I'd be happy to give this store 5 stars.
