I visited Sauble beach this weekend. While there, my son was very keen on buying a body board, so we visited this store, since we saw it on our way in. While at the store, there was no one to answer my questions. Finally caught a staff member and he advised us that the price for the board was printed on each board. There was a $30, $33 & $40. We picked the one labelled $33. I was talking to my kid and did not pay attention to what the cashier rang up and just paid the amount. Then when I got the receipt, it showed that I was charged $40 instead of $33. I asked the cashier why he charged me $40 and he said it was the price that pulled up on the system and that there is nothing he could do about it. I asked to see his manager. When I spoke to his manager, I was told that it was a labelling error and that I could get a full refund but he would not honor the price advertised. I can 100% confirm that there were a few boards of the same size in the 2 or 3 different boxes that they were outside, that had boards for $40 & $33. Not wanting to upset my kid and return the board for false advertising, I just walked away feeling cheated. At first I thought I would let this go but looking at the reviews online, seems like my initial though of them being scammers was totally true and hence I decided to write this review to warn others of the same. We will never be buying nothing from this place ever again. Scammer Alert, Be Aware!!

Horrible customer service and quality.I purchased a long sleeve may long weekend, the letters on my shirt started to peal after one wear ( none washed) I called and spoke to someone as I live 6 hours away, she said the manager would call me back and would send a shipping label to send the shirt back for a new one or a refund. She also told me that some of the shirts in that style have been peeling.I waited a couple days never heard anything, I called no answer left a message explaining my conversation with the last staff and that a Manger was to call me, no call back. For a shirt that is $60 peeling after one wear and then to be told they will do something and don't, horrible customer service they must know the quality is garbage as she did admit and ignoring a customer, clearly they don't stand by there products at all. Will never come here again!

My family and I went into the store set on purchasing sunglasses and some other items. Once we were in the store myself and my husband were made to feel very uncomfortable, instantly followed and watched around the store. We left store and called to let the staff know, excuse was “training staff” I’m sorry but this has happened to many people, I get it it’s a high traffic area but I’m sure there are other ways to insure theft isn’t happening. I noticed all staff are young and there isn’t any senior staff supervisors mb this could help

I had a bad experience in the shop, customer service was terrible. I walked out when I saw the owner being very rude and disrespectful to one of his employees.

A few days ago my 67 year old mother went in to buy a paddle board. She did not know anything about paddle boards and was curious to learn after seeing people out enjoying them on the water.The young man behind the counter suggested something called a battle board which did not come with a paddle. She was skeptical but he insisted she should buy it and try it out and if it wasn't right for her she could just bring it back for store credit.She took it out once and realized there was no way she could balance on the tiny board. When we tried to return the battle board yesterday the two young men in the shop wouldn't honour the return and made her keep the board. We will not be returning to this store. I would suggest that seniors be careful with the sales tactics used here as they are quite misleading.

They didn’t close for 10 more minutes and wouldnt even let us in. I forgot a sweater and i was cold i just wanted to buy the first one i saw. But they were rude about it and just stood and looked at us and then wouldnt let us in.The items inside looked cool. Too bad i couldnt buy any.And before we went in the two girls working were making weird noises at each other.All in all they were not friendly and i was cold.
