Friendly owners and staff. Cute, well maintained and very clean cottages. All sheets are washed and freshly ironed when your ready to crawl into bed after having a amazing night sitting around the fire pit with all the wood you can burn. There are nice Sandy play ground for the kids with a slide and teeter totter and big slide. And best of all the prices are better than most places in Sauble Beach and the owner has been here for 51 years. Be sure to call and reserve your cottage or motel early as they are almost booked up well before May when they open up.

Me and two buddies booked this place over the phone where I never received any mentions of it being for families only. Not only that she said we could have a small cabin for the 3 of us and she double checked that it would be okay for 3 people which we were okay with. We got there and they told us we’d have to go somewhere else and they tried to flip the script and claimed we were the ones lying. Apparently the cabin could only fit 2 people according to their fire safety rules but I clearly stated there were 3 of us over the phone. Their website doesn’t even state these rules either so someone should definitely update that so this doesn’t happen to anyone else. Luckily we found a place in Port Elgin where they let all groups book a place.

I did not stay at the cottages however I did meet the owner at the gift shop when I wanted to rent a metal detector to find a ring I lost on the beach. The owner was beyond accommodating! She was so kind and thoughtful! I ended up being able to find the ring thanks to the metal detector! The owner was so grateful that I was able to find it and didn't even charge me for the rental! This will be a story that is told many times and the owner made it 100 times better! Thank you so much for your kindness and generosity!

Disgusting so called "cottages" spider webs in every single corner of the place dead bugs on the beds just nasty! Would never come back again and do not recommend it.P.S. Very very dated with the amount of money they're making on this could've cleaned them properly and have proper renovations done on the place

Great for the price, family friendly and has all the amenities to have a comfortable stay. BBQ ,playground, fire pit. Very close to the beach and attractions

We lived here last week. Even though it was fully booked, we were lucky to get a cottage even though it was a big one. The location is excellent, hardly 5 mins walk to Sauble beach and there are many restaurants around to eat and other shops. There even a grocery store valu mart across the street. The cottage was clean and the kitchen was well equipped, the bedding was good and comfortable. It got cold in the night as we weren’t able to close the rusty windows in the bedroom. There’s a grill provided outside each cottage and they have a playground too for the kids. But overall it’s worth the money u would spend plus location!

There was a mouse at 3 am wich hold us wekup at 3 am. the mouse that came out of one of the two sides of the shower not attached to the wall of the cabinet. Impossible to sleep with a mouse that makes noise and runs around. knowledgeable owner says she's heard stories like this in the area and facebook comments like that.
