If you don’t feel like reading a long review, long story short: DO NOT BUY FROM THIS BUSINESS. The customer service is terrible. I was told the owner will respond trying to falsify this. Who do you believe? A customer that has nothing to gain, or the owner (Caroline Davis) who has put false 5-star reviews on her business on google? I purchased an engagement ring here earlier this year. It was meant to be a lab diamond in the center, and natural diamonds in the band (she told me it had to be natural as it was too small for lab). I agreed and paid for NATURAL diamonds in the band. When appraised, the diamonds in the band were lab grown. The appraiser was the one that informed us. Not what I paid for (a FRAUDULANT sale). Also, the metal on the band wasn’t stamped to show the quality of metal. I called in, and was told Caroline would look into it and that it would be re-appraised and I would get the difference back. I was later told that was never an option, she lied to me. After about a month of calling, the appraisal somehow increased, then increased again a third time. After I found out the ring was the wrong size as well, I asked for a refund. She told me to come in in a couple of days for one. Then the next day calls me and says to wait, she has to speak with the co-owner. A week later, I was informed that I can't have a refund, only in-store credit or the lab grown diamond in the center replaced with a smaller natural one to up the price. Obviously this does not change the fact that the diamonds in the band are not what I ordered and the size was wrong, so I refused and asked for a full refund. Under the consumer protection act of Ontario in the misrepresentation section, “It’s illegal for the business to give you false information about themselves or the product or service they offer”, an example provided is, “stating that the product is a certain grade, style, model, or quality when it isn’t” From this, the consumer protection act states, “If you have a contract with a business that has misrepresented their product or service, you can withdraw from the contract within 1 year and get a full refund.” I went in next week and explained that I wanted a full refund because the ring was not what I agreed upon. She offered me the same options or to put the engagement ring in her store and if she sells it, she will give me the money. I’m getting married in less than a year, I’m not having my fiancé walk down the aisle without a ring. In this conversation, she told me to basically just sue her then if I want a refund. She told me she’d talk with the co-owner and the supplier about the fact that the diamonds are not what was agreed upon and see if there’s any budging. The entire time she kept insisting that this is not a fraudulent sale and just a misunderstanding, but refused any type of refund. Next week I went to visit again, and she told me the co-owner (who she repeatedly refused to let me have any contact with) and the supplier refused any refund. She offered to replace the lab diamonds in the band for natural ones. Never to refund even the difference in cost between the lab and natural diamonds in the band. After her repeatedly lying to me time and time again and seeing the lack of care she puts into ordering the ring in the first place, I refused and asked for a full refund. I pointed out that this violates the consumer protection act to which she replied, “well if that’s the case, you have a pretty clear-cut lawsuit and it should be easy for you” Amazing way to run a customer service business. I beg that whoever takes the time to read this, PLEASE do not buy from this business. I am not the only person with this type of story. I also want to make clear that her employees are not the issue. They were nothing but kind to me and they are all amazing people. But Caroline has no care for customer service. This will forever overshadow my engagement for the rest of my life, and for someone to be willing to destroy a happy moment for a couple to maintain a profit should not be handling this type of business.

The lady working today is amazing and great customer service.
I was with my little one and our e scooters and she offered to allow us to leave our scooters in her store if we were unable to bring them into dollarama.
This is awesome and I thank you very much.

I wish I could give this business 1 star. The repairs are sent away and way over priced just to break. Use hennes on christina st. He is much more affordable.

If I could rate this place 0 stars I would. Stay clear of this place as they do not back their products. This place has the rudest staff.. just when I didn’t think anyone could be more rude the owner came out and was so rude I had to calm her down. I don’t know how a place that is ran like this could still be in business. Also, make sure you read their sign on the window saying no cash refunds, they forget to tell you about that when purchasing so you are forced with in store credit.

My Dad brought in a watch that was left to him by his brother who had passed away to have it fixed and get it working again. When he went to pick it up, they informed him they lost it!!! Then to rectify the situation they gave him a very cheap watch and claimed it was worth $200. You can't replace things that have sentimental value on them and you should NEVER be loosing someone's jewlery that they trust you with. Absolutely unacceptable.

Brian Davis Jewellers is a wonderful place! I have been there several times over the years and each and every time the staff isso helpful and really cares about customer service. Always pleasant and friendly and knowledgeable. Its my go to place for all my jewelry repairs and purchases. Love the place! Keep up the good work!

Ive been a customer here twice and both times I have had the most amazing experience! I had a custom engagement ring made and the entire staff was so incredible. They helped me pick out a pearl and helped me find the perfect setting. My fiancee loved it! My own engagement ring had a few stones fall out and when I went to see if they could get them replaces they were very honest and said it might be tough because of the size and shape of the stones. A week later I get a call saying they found stones that fit and a few weeks after that I had my ring back and it looks absolutely perfect just like when it was brand new! I cant recommend them enough, supporting a local business is easy when the business is so incredible!

I went in today to get battery’s changed in a couple of watches. The customer service was out of this world! They cleaned my wedding bands for me (ALWAYS free of charge), sold me a beautiful pair of earrings shined and sparking and even cleaned my old earrings for me! And not just all of the extras…they were SO kind and courteous and went so many steps above!!! Thank you again…I’ll be back soon!!

They soldered my very fine gold necklace in multiple places after it broke. It took about a week but it's held up for 6mo. now no issues.
