?????
I visited this Walmart location on Wednesday, November 21, 2024, and it was a terrible experience. The store is obviously short-staffed. I spent only 15 minutes shopping for groceries, but checking out took nearly 25 minutes!!!
The self-checkout line was absolutely chaotic, and there were only two cashiers available, both working incredibly slowly.
When I complained to one of the cashiers, she told me their hours had been cut and there was nothing they could do. This is completely unacceptable for such a large retailer. If Walmart can’t manage basic staffing levels, customers will go elsewhere. Avoid this location if you want to save your time and sanity.

My shopping experience itself was uneventful, finishing up at self-checkout. What I don't appreciate, is that machines pop up a "review our service today" message at the end of self checkout, to which the employee manning the machines rushes up and enters 5 stars. Very dishonest way to drive up metrics.

This lady at SERVICE desk was busy with her phone all the time. She was annoyed my disturbing. There was not showing any manners as a human being should have. She talked like a boss to a mistake maker without looking at me a second. I felt like I was not in Canada, I was in somewhere hang behind. ??????????

Wait time to talk to anyone is longer than an entire, very thorough grocery shop would take

It’s a big Walmart for the area that has a few in a small radius but I will say they need to work better with the customer service. Many times the agents at the self checkout are rude and too pre occupied by their own conversations

The worst Walmart ever! Good luck finding someone even there to help. Asked 5 staffs and none of them knew what they were doing, or simply gave out the wrong information. Would have rated it zero if possible.

I went on a crazy ride from downtown Toronto going to this place. I went to various Walmarts and well, if you are going to bus here it’s super annoying. However, it’s definitely a great place for people that live in the area and is one of two of the Walmarts available in Richmond Hill.
I went out to check out the Video Games section and it’s comparable to the Dufferin selection.

never buy reduced items. Theyre all rotten. Even the meat. I got some ground beef that was reduced, got it home and it smelled of rotten egg. Their reduced produce is also leaking with moldy juice. its disgusting. Why are you even selling such things? Get your act together.

The worst store to go, I just want to give customers heads up that if you have any issue, all the managers and assistant managers that get called call each other again and again because they have no information and they tell you they don’t know, the store manager for past 2 weeks as a costumer I been trying to reach and Walmart head office try to reach him, he is no where to be found. I was told today he was at store, than he stepped out and than was told he was away at a conference. His name is Giancarlo C , the photo centre has now lost my photos few times, than the machine have not been working properly but apparently let’s not let our customers know and waist their time. No managment, staff not trained, store manager missing, cooperate can not reach anyone, not sure why this store is still operating

This is one of the smaller Wal-Marts in a big city market. Produce is terrible but that's all Wal-Marts from what I can tell. Agree with other reviewers that the self-checkouts almost always seem to be closed and that the staff are rude. A group of them almost knocked me down while walking through the store. With Basics in the same plaza and most items being available on Amazon Prime for less cost and no trip to the store, there's very few reasons for me to visit anyways.
