HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE customer service. I came to the store to return a dress which I got a week ago. Before I bought it, I triple checked with the sales person about the return policy. However, when I tried to return it today, the curly haired lady refused to do the return and ACCUSED me that I reattached the label back to the dress. Her behavior is literally unacceptable and unbelievable! I NEVER had an experience as ridiculous as this in Canada for 20 years. ADVICE, don’t come to this location. If you have to, REMEMBER to take a picture of you wear the clothes with tag on at the same day you purchase it, in case you need to return it later.

The worst customer service. (a lady with curly hair) who works there was very rude. She behaves very rudely with customers. I am really sorry for this company that hired this lady.never recommended?

I have shopped at other Melanie Lynn locations and have always had good experiences. This location at the hillcrest mall was horrible. No one greeted us when we walked in, or asked us if we needed help. Instead they followed us around the store and just stared at us, very odd people working at this location. Someone from head office should go in and investigate this location, awful bunch of women working there. Doesn’t look good for the Melanie Lynn name. Will never set foot in this store again. Yuck!!?

Two days ago i was in vaughan mills branch .they told me that i have some awards, so today i went to hillcrest mall and chose some clothes ,but when i wanted to use my awards ,the lady in charge refused that i have rewards .i insisted on it but she didnt accept .finally when she was angry and talking rudely to me ,i called the vaughan mills and asked them if a had any rewards ,so they told me that i have 90 dollars rewards ! I came back to the lady in hillcrest mall and she still was very rude and didnt accept what i was saying!!!!! i am a loyal customer to melanie lyn but every time when it comes to rewards, i have 1 hour argument with these ladies to accept that !!!!So finaly on of the staff came and saied that i have a lot of rewards !!! That was my last time buying from melanie lyn !!

Normally I'm going to yorkdale mall for shopping at Melanie Lyne, today for the first time I came to Hilcrest mall branch. Very poor customer service, the lady who called *Jasmine* and was in charge, was soooo angry and rude not only infront of me, with all customers. I just shocked with this behavior, if she had a bad day, is that our fault as a customer???? I put everything back and came out of the store and definitely won't come back to this store and will tell all people that I know to do the same. How she is capable to couch others if she like this?

I am a regular customer and have bought many dresses from this store, but like some other customers I found the behavior of the lady who is in charge very unfriendly and rude....She is not welcoming and helpful at all and seems very angry!

I am a loyal customer to Melanie for several years and I have bought several dresses from this store and other Melanie branches. I recently ordered a jacket online and despite my expectation for a good quality from a brand like Melanie it was very poor and within few weeks it started to be torn on different inner parts and it seemed to me it was a rotten material used for this low quality jacket. I took the jacket to this store to ask about the reason and any possible change or store credit. In the first day the staff agreed about the low quality of the material and told me return next day to address the issue as the manager was not present in that day. Next day when I went there I found them totally different. The manager rudely told me that this should be torn wittingly by myself or my kids. I told her that I do not have a small child and previously I’ve never come to Melanie to return any cloths for low quality and expected her understanding. However, she rudely repeated herself and without checking my extended purchase profile with Melanie accused me of lying which made me very disappointed and angry. I am really sorry for such a poor customer service at a store which is representative of a trusted brand like Melanie. I will never go there and this experience has affected my enthusiasm towards this brand negatively. I expect that the supervisors of this store manager consider the resolution of my complaint seriously as I am not treated like a valued customer after several years.
