“This shop has everything you could possibly need. Particularly popular are nuts and beans. It reminds me of old-school Iranian stores from my childhood. I enjoy the aroma of spices in the air. I buy the majority of my necessities here.There are two sellers, one of whom is extremely friendly.”

“Great location Chinese supermarket in a busy plaza, but tons of parking spaces. Store is stocked up nicely with tons of items. Appreciate the snack isles as there's a lot of stuff you can get at Western traditional grocery stores. Meat and seafood section is good and can get it much cheaper than Loblaws etc. check this place out of your in the area I'm sure you'll find everything you need at a lower price.”

“This Food Basics is totally different than the other locations. I've been shopping from them for a few years now and there is always good availability, and most often the cheapest prices compared to other grocery stores.Customer service has always been very good too. The staff is working hard and if you ask questions they still help you with a smile. The store manager is always around and ensures every shelf is full and all products displayed properly. Also, he regularly checks the store's cleanliness as a result you will find this location very decent and clean.The self checkout is easy and convenient. Lots of parking spots available, as well as accessible ones.In general, it's a great location and store, I would go back again to buy groceries.”

“Balout Supermarket is a gem for Persian groceries in Richmond Hill! They have everything you could need—from Persian delicacies and snacks to essential ingredients for authentic recipes. Their ready-to-BBQ marinated kebabs are absolutely fantastic and make hosting so much easier.
I recently did a grocery haul here and was impressed by the selection and prices—consistently better than other stores in the area. They even have free Persian magazines at their newspaper rack, which is such a thoughtful touch for those who need to get their reading fix.
The staff is friendly, and the store was clean and well-organized. Highly recommend it for anyone looking for quality Persian groceries or just a taste of home!”

“I love visiting this Hmart location, great variety of all the ingredients like sauces, frozen foods, mixed grains. Unfortunately it's very far from Barrie, but whenever I get to go I make sure to buy lots of staples. Really hoping for a more north location soon ;)”
