I recently had an awful experience at the Aldo store. We arrived at 7:45 PM, and a girl in white, who was extremely rude and unprofessional, closed the door in our faces. She curtly informed us they were closing, but if that was the case, why didn’t she close the door before we stepped into the store? Her behavior was unacceptable and she should be unemployed. To the managers: please educate your staff properly. Nowhere on your Google Maps listing or website does it state that you close at 7:45 PM. This experience has left a very bad impression, and I will not be returning.Even one star is too much!!!!!

One of the employees named Sarah who represented herself as a manager was not only extremely rude but also not helpful. For a simple item return she tried to ignore me and behaved unprofessional as my expectation for a big company like Aldo is to hire more professional employees who can at least deal with issues and simple problems which she is not able to whatsoever and isn’t qualified to be a manager.

Do not purchase shoes here.I purchased shoes here last Sunday and wore them once the following day. By the end of the day, I saw that the heel had been peeling off and breaking. I ended up not wearing them anymore and went to return them the following Sunday.The Assistant Manager said she could not return them because they were worn. I told her they were defective and the heel was breaking. She said she could not return them because the Store Manager was not in, but the shoes did look defective and that she had the same issue herself with these shoes.She took down my phone number and took a picture of the shoe to send to the Store Manager, and said if the Store Manager responded, she would let me know, but otherwise, to come in on Tuesday when the Store Manager was to be working. I asked for the first name of the Store Manager to call on Tuesday and confirm the time when I could come in while the Manager was present, but she refused because of some 'Disclosure Policy' they had. I returned home, and within an hour, the Assistant Manager called, saying the Store Manager would not return it because of wear and tear!First, it is not wear and tear as I wore them once. Even so, if I wore them seven times, it should not be wear and tear. Aldo shoes should have a standard of quality, especially for the price of them. Also, if the Store Manager had not seen them in person or discussed this with me directly to apply the Warranty Policy to my situation, how could you assess the shoe?

Cashier Gerannaz manners are so unpleasant. I went there to exchange shoes to smaller size but ended up returning it because her bad manners. It costs companies to hire not well mannered employees. She doesn’t have a welcoming face. Am not sure why she’s hired. March 29 2024

Another great shopping experience at Hillcrest Mall in Richmond Hill. Sarah and Louisa were friendly right off the go, and they helped me find my desired pair. Will be back for sure.

Where do I begin. The customer service at the Aldo Richmond Hill was so bad and very unprofessional. I came in with my partner to return some shoes that were purchased 2 weeks ago but only have worn once. We were greeted and asked if we initially wanted an exchange and we said no just like it returned. Then we were held by this Asian woman with long black hair with a disgusted look on her face. I explained that they were worn once and the zipper on the side was faulty and I actually demonstrated that it was very hard to open and close the zipper and to which she looked at me with a really disgusted look on her face. Like why am I returning shoes? She proceeds to tell me that since they've been worn, mind you only once we can only do store credit. And I explained again, how can we truly know the function of the shoe? If we can't wear them out. She then proceeded to say only store credit with another disgusted look on her face. I've never encountered poor customer service at a location. But also how are you as a customer Able to fully be satisfied with your purchase if you don't wear them. And as per their policy on the receipt it says if you're not 100% satisfied, we weren't and we wanted to return them after 1 days use and we were met by a really awful interaction. Do better.Customer service really needs to be looked upon at this location.

Very disrespectful cashier, today went to pickup my online order and a yonge lady treated me vary badly, Throw hard my pkg on the table and grab a shoe from my hand when I was looking it and put inside the box hardly without any reason!!! A girl who was min half of my age. Why working when overwhelmed, no control by store manager

Today the lady who was working in the front desk who didn’t want to give me her name told me so impolite I have to throw away my empty Aldo online shopping bag outside of store after returning as their garbage bin was full she had a lot of attitude, she did not give me access to talk manager as well, So sorry for their terrible costumer service

Very very very awful costumer services they have, I paid $140 for a uncomfortable shoes, after a week she didn’t take it back, bad behaviour, no recommended ALDo shoes , specially in Hillcrest mall branch
