Amazing park. Just stepped from the most beautiful beach on the island. Thank you for letting us camp there while I was on my vacation. We had a great trip

This was my second time tent camping at this park. I came back due to the location, but also due to the staff & owners. They are extremely helpful and go out of their way to assist you. I travel via motorcycle so asked if they could deliver firewood & a grate to my campsite to cook my dinner. Beth showed up with both items and some complimentary water too. The park is not noisy or loud at night which ensures everyone a nice time and allows one to sleep well. A great park!

Visited site in August 2023. While the location is great, the park has changed ownership and has really gone downhill since. The bathrooms used to be immaculate, but were absolutely disgusting. I couldn't use them. While there, I also heard about some pretty horrible practices with seasonal campers. They've lost many seasonals as a result. Be careful if considering a seasonal lot. There are many other parks on the island - do a day trip to Providence Bay and avoid this park at all costs.

Great place situated on the beach front, just across a non-busy road. Most campsites are fairly secluded with grass and trees. Nice everchanging sunsets.

This is a super friendly private campground. The staff are unbelievably friendly and most of the campers here are regulars that return year after year.
The Manitoulin Island feel is an amazing experience. A few extra steps along the beach from the park and you're in the heart of a small town on the island that offers a great fish and chip store, coffee shop, craft vendors and a world class playground for the little ones.
Access to Providence Bay Beach which has got to be in the top 5 beaches in Ontario is clearly the best feature as the beach is literally steps from all camp sites.
Highly recommend.

Our campsite had less privacy than we would have liked, but the park is well maintained and the staff great.

We spent 10 days here at end June 2024. We had an issue the first day which the staff responded to immediately.
The location is incredible, steps away from beautiful beaches and crystal clear Lake Huron. There is also a section of beach that dogs are welcome,, our dog Chance had the time of his life. A boardwalk leads to Centre of Providence Bay and amenities. Our son and grandson visited a couple days and had a great time,,, only $10/night extra.
There was firewood, ice and amenities availible at reasonable prices at the office The park facilities and washrooms are cleaned regulary by the hardworking staff. We had an excellent vacation and can't wait to return next year.
The staff were amazing and friendly with us. A sincere thanks to managers Beth and Kyle who were super!! Staff members Bob, and the always laughing, Dillon (with his sidekick Harley) were always excellent and friendly. Thanks for making our vacation great to all of you.

We had a great four night stay at a tent site. The site was big and fairly private (for car camping) with some trees between the sites. The staff were friendly and it's a very short walk to the beach!

The beach was lovely! The sunsets superb!
Campsite was fine.
Just a heads up to others travelling with kids, the rules about children in the bathroom seemed a bit aggressive - my 13 and 11 year old were not allowed to go to the bathroom alone. They also wouldn’t let children (again 11 & 13) into the campstore without supervision. It took a little of the fun out of camping. I’m sure they’ve had a reason behind this but it’s the only campground I’ve ever seen a sign like this at.

Campground matched our expectation : location was great, right on the wonderful beach, and the boardwalk, we had a spacious site, for our RV. Toilets & showers are indeed a little old but they did the job more than well.

We had a great stay at this park. Great experience with the staff; they were fantastic to deal with, friendly and helpful. The location is perfect, right across from Providence Bay Beach. Our site was nice, though parking our 32ft trailer was a bit tight, we managed to fit it in the best way possible. The site only had water and electric hookups (no sewage). The park mainly consists of seasonal cottages. The reason for the 4-star rating instead of 5 is that there isn't much to do within the park itself—no playground, swimming pool, or indoor/outdoor games. Additionally, the washrooms could use some updating.

Honestly way too expensive for what it is. The pitches without service, for the tents, are stuck together, the showers are on the opposite side of this section (very logical given that the rest of the campsite is occupied by huge trailers which are there all year round and which must have their own shower...), plus it looks like all the toilet blocks and showers date from the 50s, it's frankly dated. Paying $50 (tax in) for that is way too much!
