Melt Studio and Gallery is a unique art space located in a historic air force barracks just outside Picton, built in 1940 as part of the British Commonwealth Air Training Plan. Managed by Canadian encaustic artist Susan Wallis, it serves as her working studio and showcases the work of over 25 local and Canadian artists and artisans. The gallery aims to promote public awareness and appreciation of visual arts by exhibiting a variety of artwork from different artists and mediums. Very large property, interesting place to check out

Gallery owner Susan Wallis gave us the run down on the current and future exhibitions. 3 rooms plus her studio and the main galley space offered a good variety of artwork. So impressed with Owen Gilbert's work we purchased one of his pieces.
