Great place. The woman who helped us (the owner I believe) was very charming. She was knowledgeable and offered us many free samples. Nothing we purchased seemed outrageously overpriced as some cheese monger establishments sometimes are. The wife and I had a very enjoyable cheese shopping experience. We are savoring our super delicious creamy blu cheese tonight! Thank you!

I've been here many times, but hadn't been up to Port Perry in a while. Revisited yesterday and learned that it had recently reopened and was under new ownership (possibly Old Flame Brewery?). Well, the place is still amazing. We flew in there 10 minutes before closing and the staff were super friendly and helpful in choosing some cheeses and didn't try to rush us out of there. You can can everything you need in there: your wine, your cheese, crackers, charcuterie, tea, etc. It's absolutely fantastic and I hear they're planning great things for it.

Gone into this store a few time, I don't find they have a great variety of cheeses for the size of this store. The staff I found them not very friendly at all on most of my visits.. Reading these reviews I feel it's a different store to my experiences..

The sandwiches here are delicious! They also serve wine, beer and ciders. It's a hidden gem of Port Perry and we picked up some great cheese before leaving as well! Would recommend ?

A wonderful place for a variety of high quality cheeses. The staff are very friendly and helpful in explaining their cheeses as well as offering free samples to try before you buy.I highly recommend this cheese shop for your next Chacuterie board shopping.

I ordered a Grazing Table from Port Cheese Co for a baby shower and all I can say is WOW. The whole process was super easy. Erin made wonderful suggestions, delivered and set up a gorgeous spread for 50 people. The selection of cheeses was fantastic. I know everyone enjoyed it because there were only a couple of buns and a few crumbs of cheese left. Will definitely be using Port Cheese Co again.

First time here. There's a good variety of cheeses, Ontario as well as imported. Bought two different types one smoked and one peppery. Do ask to try the cheese before you buy as the staff will not offer. 7/23/2022

"Damned fine sandwich!" We said it over and over. We had received a recommendation but that restaurant was not open. We were so lucky! We found The Port Cheese by just wandering the main drag. It has a funky vibe - and seemed a bit dark (we were not sure that it was open) - but we were hungry and decided to take a risk. Order the turkey and Brie on a croissant!!! So worth it! Featuring crisp apple slices, iceberg lettuce (honestly, it is great) and a balsamic fig mustard that you will buy a jar of before you leave - this sandwich is a keeper! The whipped feta was a bit too lemon forward, but a nice starter (we recommend adding a touch of honey). Stop in. It will be a treat.
