About 4-5 years ago we attended an Elton Ron concert at the Capital Theatre next door to this antique shop. I found some really old song sheets and music in a plastic bag on a bench outside this store.The store owner came by - his shop was closed it was about 10 p.m. - and I asked him if these were his left inavertently outside. He said "I don't think so but I will dispose of them" and he quickly ducked into his store. Right through to the back and I chased him around the building but he got away.If this is the same owner - tall, about 60 to 65 years of age, a bit heavyset - I warn you to be careful.And I will some day pay a visit and tell him to his face what I think if him.

Antiques on Queen is one of the reasons I stop in Port Hope.This really is a pretty town that has its share of interesting stores including Dreamers Cafe next door. I really appreciate antique stores that are self evident in the way they present the treasures I explore to find or the items that will or won't reveal themselves to me, but only if and when I'm ready. The flurry of treasures on 3 floors are extremely well presented, almost a gallery with a museum feel. Prices are very reasonable and selection very diverse and for new comers, not intimidating, because the store owners are so easy to talk with. Everywhere you look, there is always something to see a friend once said about Paris France and it applies to Antiques on Queen... Enjoy and take your break at the Dreamers Cafe next door...You'll be hard-pressed to leave quickly. Take your time and enjoy.

I haven't been there yet. But will be going soon. I here the place is awesome. ?l can hardly wait to visit this place. As it has everything l love. I know l will find something to had to my already amazing antique collection. I am a big collector of trunks and am looking for a couple more.
