Lakeshore Recreation is a great gym in Port Elgin, described as the best, awesome, and a dream gym. It is known for its cheap rates, good equipment, and lots of new equipment following renovations and new upgrades. The atmosphere is super clean, always clean, with a fresh look and new flooring. The staff is wonderful, amazing, nice, and great, with good people always at the front desk. People are always respectful, making it a safe space. Members love the classes and instructors. Some note a desire for better weekend hours.
Lakeshore Recreation is a community that includes members and staff, working together to support health, happiness, and connection. What a lovely thing in these times of disconnection and loneliness.

Good gym, it’s always clean, good equipment, nice staff, I wish the weekend hours were a bit better. They close at 6:00 pm which is waaaay too early !!!!

Good gym, just need to make some more lockers available for day use on upper level.
