It's a small town Home Hardware that has essentials, friendly staff(although you'll be better off finding advice online). If you're worried about selection, Rona is a 15 minute drive away, 45 for Home Depot.

Just went in for browsing around. Was not busy. However, it was Good Friday, so it was quiet. They carry DVD's, coolers, BBQ's, garden needs, etc. Didn't take any pics unfortunately

Absolutely wonderful store. I shopped there several several times recently after helping my daughter and son-in-law move to Port Dover and the staff we always very helpful had they absolutely everything we needed!!

I just moved to Port Dover from Hagersville. The Hagersville store is a 5, no question. The Port Dover store is a 3 for two reasons, the staff interaction is FAIR and they package small parts in tiny ZipLoc bags and price them too high for just a few pieces, , ?

You know how you think of olde tymey Rockwellesque hardware stores in small towns? Well this is not like that. Sorry, no bent old man with a pencil behind his ear and a canvas apron. It's small and packed, the counter service is mostly pretty, young women and efficiency is their game. If they don't have it, you most likely don't really need it. There's even a tiny but modern bicycle shop in the basement (proper bicycles, not junk). Check it out when you visit Dover even if you don't need anything but be prepared to say "oh wow Honey, there's one of those whatsits we've been trying to find forever".
