Jodi is such a great groomer! I trust her with my little guy who does not enjoy grooming (at all). But, shes patient and takes good care of him. I'm always welcomed with a smile and an offer of assistance from staff. Great place! Highly recommend :)

So happy with Jodi and the care she takes grooming my two Shitz Tzu’s! With other groomers, they were anxious, even terrified but not with Jodi! I appreciate that Jodi listens to my requests for them, no perfume (specifically). The store is distant from my house, but so worth going there for her service. Thank you so much. It's been a little over a year since I took my 90 lb boxer/mastiff rescue for the Saturday morning nail trim clinic. I had gone to another groomer in a nearby location with 2 of my other rescue dogs for years before they passed and even though they had some issues the results were always good and my dogs left happy. Sometimes rescue dogs can come with challenges but as an experienced dog owner and former dog foster family, I am accustomed to just about any eventuality. The 1st time I went to Ruffins all went well. The 2nd time the groomer cut my dogs nails past the quick 4 times. You read that correctly. FOUR TIMES. And that was just on his back feet. When he started screaming in pain she, without my permission, attempted to muzzle him. I said " No thank you" when she reached for one of his front paws. . Now, in order to get his CLEAR NAILS trimmed it requires a trip to the vet and FULL sedation. She terrorized my dog to the point that it now requires 100s of dollars to accomplish the task. If you have a dog with ANY issues do yourself a favour and stay well away from this so called professional. I can assure you that whatever you think you are saving is not worth the pain your dog could suffer. I wish that I could find a way to make them pay the vet costs l that are now part of our healthcare regime.I would like to thank the Ruffin's manager who reached out to me in regards to my concern. She is new to the position but handled my concerns with the type of courtesy and professionalism that I appreciate. I understand that this groomer is no longer associated with Ruffins but has moved on to another local well known grooming and day care facility. I would urge anyone who is looking for a groomer to find out first if the person that they are entrusting their beloved dog's care to, that they first find out where they worked previously. I would hate to see any dog undergo what my dog was forced to endure and the resulting trauma.Thank you again Ruffin's for your attention to this issue. Sometimes it is not the original problem but the manner in which concerns are handled that are the most meaningful.

Last time I was here a staff member was following me around like I was a thief. I looked over while pulling out a handful of cash and said, "Guess I'll spend this somewhere else".I haven't been back. Stop profiling people. Sometimes its the well dressed, clean cut people who are stealing!

I take my cockapoo to Ruffins for grooming. Jodi goes above and beyond to make your pets look their best, she always takes time to listen to you and respects your wishes in regard to the cut. She clearly loves all dogs, and may even sing a lullaby to them to keep them calm ?
