They don't install customer purchased parts, and didn't even ask to see them. I buy quality parts for my cars, probably from the same place they do. I updated this at the shop owners request, as far as his comment about warranty goes it doesn't make sense. I would be responsible for returning the part if it failed within 3 years, his only responsibility for warranty would be for his workmanship during the install. No you have never serviced my car and never will.

Excellent service at Phil's. I brought my Grand Cherokee with a coolant leak fully expecting to replace the rad with a bill of 1000.00 $.Turned out it was just a clamp. 35.00$ in parts and half hour labor and I was on my way......
Honesty and integrity at Phil's for sure.

I have been dealing with Phil’s auto service for over 10 years now. Phil and his staff are very knowledgeable and professional. Phil is fair and trustworthy. Any estimate has been the price. Never any hidden fees. He takes care of my vehicle as well as my wife’s and we couldn’t be more pleased. Thanks to Phil and his staff I highly recommend them to everyone

Today was my first time at Phil’s Auto and I will definitely be back! Previously we had a bad experience at another local shop and decided to try out Phil’s to fix a small issue and it was definitely worth it! We will definitely be going back for future work! ****EDIT. Aug 2023.Brake lines all around are still working just fine (as they were all brand new). No issues. Just recently changed my brake pads. Otherwise I've had 0 issues. The mechanic I use now takes pictures if ever anything is wrong and shows me what it's suppose to look like! ****Absolute rip off!!! I went in for a safety… knowing my car just passed a legal safety in November 2021. Tried to tell me I needed new brake lines all around and if he pinched them they would snap then said it would cost $900+ for the job to be done. Well I have the receipts to prove this was done in September 2021.He then charged me over $140 for a safety he didn’t even complete. I went to 2 other mechanics to have it checked out… first one told me there was nothing wrong at all and sent me off to get a new safety check. So off to Hamilton I went.. was asked what year the car was and complimented on how great it looks for the year and we’ll maintained (2008 Hyundai) looked over and wrote up my safety, it cost me $100 flat! I told him what Phil’s auto had to say, and his response “unfortunately they do that to people” well I am not people! I knew he was trying to rip me off!!!(ive never paid over $500 for a brake line job to begin with) I WILL NEVER EVER go back or recommend Phil’s auto! STAY AWAY!!!!!!P.S. don’t worry the loose battery is no longer loose ;) and literally took a minute to cut that zip tie and add a bolt!

Top notch customer service. My fuel pump failed in my 1/2 ton. After removing the the gas tank, replacing the pump, and reinstalling the tank, it was found that the fuel gauge did not work. A new pump/sender module was ordered and was received shortly before closing time. I received a call at 8:00 am the following morning to tell me that the truck was ready! Apparently, employee Rob worked overtime to ensure that not only my vehicle but another customer's would be ready as promised. Very much appreciated. Phil's is my new auto repair shop in Port Colborne.

Reasonably on schedule, very friendly and courteous. I had to wait almost a week for an oil change appointment but that’s my fault for not booking earlier. My first visit to Phil’s but won’t be my last.
