My friends and I decided to rent a cottage for an end of summer trip, I split off and needed to run a few errands at the pharmasave next door. While I was waiting for my friends to pick me up, I decided to stop in and look at the art by myself to kill time. When I entered I was greeted and figured it was out of common customer service mannerisms. I later discovered it was not the case, the owner was trying to get rid of me when I was simply admiring the art. I was asked again if I needed a hand and when I told her I was looking while waiting for my friends she asked me to wait outside and said i looked like i had questions for her and she proceeded to shoo me away” because I was “intruding on her conversation with another customer” when I didn’t speak or involve myself in the conversation. I have never been treated with such disrespect, rudeness and poor service in my life. Her behaviour was disgusting.
i’m response to her comments on how I was dressed i was wearing a t shirt and a skirt. her response to my poor review should give you an indication of the service and attitude to expect.

Amazing staff, and well supported local and Canadian artists. The staff are amazing and helpful and knowledgable on their artists. Ensure to stop by in this pretty area.

The owner of this gallery (she claimed she was the owner) is the rudest woman, genuinely a see you next Tuesday. I overheard her speaking rudely about me and my boyfriend while we were admiring the artwork. I was shocked at first, because who would speak about a potential customer like that? Once I was sure she was speaking of us I confronted her and she was disgusting. I visited a few summers back, but I’ll never forget the incredibly rude encounter I had at this gallery. Do not support this woman or her business. Awful service.

Great local Muskoka establishment for art from Canadian craftspeople. Items in the store and layout are often different each time we visit, never know what you will find. Paintings were gorgeous!Given multiple gifts to people bought here: pottery, shirts, fine wood bowls. Happy to support local business and local production aswell!

This gallery has a beautiful collection of art, however I have never been treated so rude. One of the women who own it, answered my question in such an abrupt and rude manner that it completely shocked me. She clearly needs to learn a thing or two about sales and customer service. I won't be stepping foot in that gallery again and I'll be sure to let my Muskoka friends and colleagues know what they can expect.
