I recently visited the Walmart location at Brock Rd and Kingston Rd, and I had an unpleasant experience with an associate named Jenet. When I asked for assistance with returning an item, they seemed dismissive and unhelpful, making me feel like I was an inconvenience. Their attitude was unprofessional and did not reflect the level of service I’ve come to expect from Walmart.
I hope management can address this behaviour to improve the overall shopping experience. I also asked how to pronounce her name to make small talk as she was processing my return, and she said, “It doesn’t matter and is none of your concern.” - very rude and disrespectful. There is a way to address things and this was not the way to do it.

My first-ever Walmart visit happened right here in Ajax, Canada, and not in the US—who would’ve thought? As a Filipino visiting this massive store, I was blown away by the variety of products. It felt like stepping into a shopper’s paradise!
Of course, my mission was clear: find Hot Rods for my only child—the one thing he specifically asked for. I was thrilled to finally spot them since Walmart is the only store here that carries them. Unfortunately, their stock was limited, so I couldn’t hoard as many as I wanted. Still, mission (partially) accomplished!
Beyond Hot Rods, I couldn’t help but marvel at the sheer range of items Walmart offers. The festive cookies and pastries on display screamed holiday vibes, while the deli and ready-to-eat sections offered so many tempting options. And let’s not forget the endless chip and snack aisles—they’re a junk food lover’s dream! I could’ve spent hours just walking around and exploring.
Overall, it was a fun first visit, and I’ll definitely be back. Fingers crossed they restock on Hot Rods by then!

This location is absolutely horrible. If you are buying meat or cosmetics and paid for it, just be aware that the alarm will go off. The security will suspect that you stole items even if you didn't. They will ask you questions and make you feel like a criminal. I highly recommend to not go to this location.

For over a month now, my experience at the Walmart at Brock Road and Highway 401 in Pickering has gone from frustrating to downright disheartening. As someone who visits the store daily—often multiple times a day—and spends hundreds to thousands of dollars each month, I feel targeted and treated unfairly.
Not only have I been falsely accused of stealing scanners, but the employees in certain departments have made it their mission to make my shopping experience unnecessarily difficult. Despite the store having the items I need in stock, they go out of their way not to restock at the beginning of the day or even overnight. It feels deliberate and incredibly unfair.
Karen, for instance, complained that she has a problem with me coming to the store at opening, simply because I want to spend my money and buy products. How is that a problem for a paying customer? Curtis, the manager, has treated me with open disrespect, and it’s clear that as a minority, I’m being unfairly targeted.
All I’m saying is that as a customer, I shouldn’t have to waste my time and gas just because certain employees in that department have taken it upon themselves to make things harder for me. I’ve remained loyal to this store despite the poor treatment, but the way I’ve been treated is unacceptable and hurtful.
Walmart needs to hold their staff accountable for creating such a hostile environment for a loyal customer like me. It’s not too much to ask to be treated with basic respect and fairness.
The garden center is overstocked with everything that i come to buy but they won't bring it out on purpose

I visited the Walmart at the Pickering location on Oct. 30/24. The prices are so high. I'm not sure why....Halloween chocolates, chips and candies were higher than Loblaws.
When I visit the location in Markham, I can often find good prices on fruits but never at Pickering.

Your management need to be retrained on service animals. Google does not train your management. Try educating them properly.

I ordered groceries on Uber eats on October 17,2024 and received yogurt that had expired on October 4, 2024. How are you not checking and removing expired dairy products from your shelves?? Absolutely disgusting. I’ve complained on Uber and still have not received a response.

Walmart has got rid of plastic bags, but they have succeeded in finding another way to fill our landfills. Now they have these non-biodegradable blue bags. Blatant greenwashing. I ordered online to have them deliver to my place. Have a look at the number of non-biodegradable bags they left at my door. Thought it was time to call out the hypocrisy in replacing plastic bags with cloth bags to fill our landfills.

Whoever the Manager on shift at 11:35am on October 10 is should be let go. She was wearing a white shirt, didn’t catch her name. I heard her talking to one of the front line employees in the most disgusting way possible. I would NEVER speak to anyone the way she was. You can’t yell at another person ever, let alone in front of everyone in the line no matter what they’ve done wrong. This is horrible conflict management and disgusting behaviour, unfortunately she probably isn’t ready to Manage. Hope this changes.
