Visited this location last year as I was setting up my baby registry. I was told I would get a “goody bag” before I was given the scanner. That never happened.I visited the store a few months later and advised the staff, they checked the system to verify I did indeed make a registry and said they would call me when they had these “goody bags” in stock. It’s been just under a year and I never received a call.Will not recommend Toys r us to any friends who are looking to create a baby registry.

We purchased Soldier Force toys off our son’s birthday wish list…. One stopped working before we could unpackage it, the other one had lights but no sound. All our local stores across Ottawa were sold out, but helped us find stores with stock between here and the GTA. Apparently Soldier Force deliveries aren’t frequent, so our little guy was understandably sad his main birthday presents were set aside for an indeterminate time.We called Pickering as we had family driving through there, who luckily had both items in stock. Eric took the time to find both toys on the floor, made sure they worked, and set them aside for us. He was up front about a torn box, thankfully for our situation it didn’t matter. One had a missing piece, but we figured we would just take the missing piece from the toy we had in hand. At time of exchange, there was a note from Eric saying he had found the missing piece - the toy was complete. Small gesture to some, but it meant so much to us and so kind to take the time. It might seem small, but there is a little boy who knows his replacements are on their way sooner rather than later, and that means the world to us.Toys R Us staff tend to be incredibly helpful, this was no exception. Thank you to all the staff we spoke to, and a special thank you to Eric.

This place has a perfect service. They had a Lego car that costed maybe 10 or 20 dollars and they removed 2 dollars off

Do not recommend doing your baby registry with Toyrus/babyrus... They never send you a gift basket. Also your ability to exchange or return an item is contigent your family and friends give you a receipt. No receipt no assistance.... The staff is nice but the company as a whole is disappointing and won't be recommending or using again for anyone's registry.

Terrible return policy - will only take back sealed items in 30 days, something broke? Something wrong with the item that you wouldn't find out until trying to use it in real life? Well you are out of luck here! I returned a safety door lock because do not fit .On the shelf they are selling open packages where they put some tape on the package . I told them to keep the package and money . Donate the $12 bucks . I would never shop there again .

I enjoy going to my local Toys R Us just to see the new toys they have. The nearest competitor, Walmart, is on the other side of the plaza, but I prefer Toys R Us for two reasons: they offer better prices and their packaging is always in good condition. Whether I'm buying a toy for myself, my child, or as a gift, I want the packaging to be in good shape, and Toys R Us consistently delivers on that front. The staff at this store is also friendly, helpful, and the store is well-organized and clean.During my last visit, I got a great deal on a Fuggler Assortment Wave for my dog, and she absolutely loves it!
