“This is the first pharmacy we went to after we moved to Canada, to get our prescriptions filled. We didn’t realise how special they were - we just assumed all pharmacies in the GTA are that good - until we moved further away and had to change our pharmacy. The pharmacists here are simply wonderful. You can see they care, and they help you out with your medications. They also remember details for all their regulars. Bonus: they even take orders for custom compression socks, which is quite rare.”

One thing that stopped me from selecting 5 star is that the owner/head pharmacist has been late getting there a few times, and seems to take a little longer than the other pharmasists to prepare medications.
But either way, overall it is a wonderful pharmacy and great people who are genuinely interested in the positivity and care of the clients /customers.”

“Pharmacist really cares, and advocates for his patients. On more than one occasion, he expressed concern to me regarding how high a dose I was prescribed of a new medication, which ultimately led to me starting on a more easily tolerated lower dose. (Obviously with family GP's approval.) We've gone here for years...dispensing fees are FAR more reasonable than elsewhere, and the entire staff have always been wonderful and helpful.”

“Today, I walked in with the worst heartburn I've experienced in a long time, looking to purchase a bottle of Rolaids as I was out of my usual prescription medication for acid reflux. Unfortunately, they were temporarily out of stock. But the pharmacist, a lovely, kind-hearted woman, I guess seeing that I was in discomfort, said to me, "I won't let you leave like this," and proceeded to give me a dose of a medication for heartburn. For the life of me, I can't remember the name of the medication, but I can tell you, I didn't feel any heartburn for the rest of the day. Worked beautifully! So, I'd like to thank her again for her kind generosity.”
“Date/Time of Visit: November 17 approx 7:45p staff was friendly, easy to find tweezers with the assistance of someone stocking the same aisles I was in.
But $22 for tweezers? Had no choice as I had a metal splinter in my hand which I was trying to remove.”

“During the pandemic, I stumbled across this pharmacy when I urgently needed Tylenol which was unable to find at the time however this compounding pharmacy was able to make it for my child.The first thing that struck me was the clean and welcoming environment but what truly sets this pharmacy apart is the exceptional service provided by the pharmacist. He always goes the extra mile to explain medications and patiently answers all my questions. One thing that I particularly appreciate is the convenience offered by the app they have. Their user-friendly app makes it incredibly easy to submit prescriptions from the comfort of my home, saving me time and hassle. “This is a busy location due to its proximity to Go Train, Highway Exit, downtown Pickering and the highway 2 corridor. Some people have been going here for decades. Min 1 hour if you are dropping by from hospital or doc office. This means if the prescription has an error there will be a delay. All the people are very professional. If you are polite, they are polite back. Best to call earlier in order to get prescriptions filled if faxed. For meds that need scheduling you can ask about availability and order times in order to determine when to call to fill. This location is great because you can call in the prescription. And if it is not busy, get suggestions on OTC medicine for conditions you are not familiar with.”
“I went to Rexall to mail a card this evening and was promptly greeted by a staff who was friendly, funny, attentive and helpful. I was sending the card outside of Canada and wasn’t sure how many postage stamps to use. The staff explained the process to me, showed transparency and genuine #pride to help a customer a work. My father came home today after buying two boxes to find there was 4 packages missing in one box, meaning he got charged for 100 syringes when he only got 60 total. Everybody out to make a quick buck these days.”
“The people who work here come from all sorts of different diverse backgrounds and they're all very polite and respectful. I watch people in line in front of me treat cashiers very rudely and disrespectfully. This is the country we live in where we're supposed to be diverse, understanding and polite. So before you Acosta cashier for doing their jobs, try to see things from their perspective and understanding. Everyone is polite here. And you might be misunderstanding them.”
