I would like to thank the team at Heronview Raw. I came in with panics with my boy Aussie Doodle - 2yrs old with just poop issues.. Kara was amazing in listening and helping support the situation. I have emailed/popped by and called and she has been so amazing to work with. I want to thank you Kara and the team at Heronview for being so supportive and helping a mom who really had lost battle on my boys poop problem. thank you

I only buy exotics from them because of the good price and it’s very lean but recently I received a batch and it was full of fat. I got 5lb of venison and has taken out almost 2lb of fat which was never happened before. Also tried a few of their mixes for the first time and none of my kitties like it.

Great raw food supply. The only place I could find reasonably priced exotic meat options for my highly allergic dog. Knowledgeable staff. Wish they delivered to Kitchener!

My dog looks forward to every single meal no matter what it might be, also have seen such a huge improvement with her skin and allergies wouldnt go anywhere else for her food. This is a huge place, like a warehouse, so don't expect there to be lots of fancy stuff for pets, but it's a great place.
DOGS NOT ALLOWED INTO THE SHOP - so you'll need to leave your pup at home or in the car.
Depending on the time of day, service can take anywhere from 10 minutes to 45. You can also pre-order a few days in advance and they'll notify you when it's ready for pickup - this is a great service at not extra cost.
Speaking of cost...
The prices are fantastic (for their food/treats), and the quality is great - much of it is locally-sourced. If you're looking for toys, accessories or supplements those can get pricey, but they do carry quality supplements and treatments.
Usually, you're greeted by the owner's massive and incredibly friendly Leonbergers, who come up for a quick visit, then continue on.
**TIP** although boxes are provided (food [frozen cubes] is measured and put into plastic bags), if you have a few coolers with ice packs, bring them in for the car ride home.
We found this place on recommendation from a dog-loving friend and make the drive out there. Since we put our dog onto raw, she's lost weight, no longer gets infections/illness as frequently as she did previously, and has an incredible amount of energy for an 11 year old dog (most people think she's still a puppy).
The pre-packaged stuff you buy from chain pet stores is around the same price, but it's definitely not the same quality. I've found it to be brown and mushy, whereas Heronview's food looks fit for a human's plate.
Clear space in your freezer or buy a new one - it's worth the money you'll save in vet bills!

I can't say enough good things about this raw food business! The food is consistently excellent—so fresh, flavorful, and truly nourishing. Their prices are very reasonable, especially considering the high quality of the ingredients. What really sets them apart, though, is the care they put into everything they do. Kara, in particular, has been incredibly helpful. She goes above and beyond to offer guidance, advice, and support whenever I need it. You can tell that the whole team genuinely cares about their customers, and that makes all the difference. I'm so grateful for everything they do, and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for amazing raw food with a personal touch.

Not talked about as much but they have amazing food for cats and great prices. We buy the kitty mix and mix it with different ground meats they have. Cats are much healthier. Shinier coats, trimmer and more agile. They love it.

Dog loves his food now. What else can I say. Good food for a good price. Only thing I can say is if you order online make sure you check your order we have had a few pieces missing. But they always do their best to correct the problem. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Recently, I had to make a significant change in my 13-year-old Shepherd's diet, and Kara has been incredibly supportive and helpful throughout this transition. From our initial interaction, I have been consistently impressed by her outstanding customer service. Brittany is wonderful!
We recently transitioned our 2 year old Labrador retriever to raw. He’s a super picky eater, which is strange for a lab. Brittany was accommodating in ensuring he’d transition easily. She gave us multiple options for meals in hopes we’d get him to start eating it.
Quality of food is wonderful, staff is friendly and the facility is well organized.
