We’ve been shopping here for years for our cat and dog supplies. The staff are awesome. They are knowledgeable and helpful. I love shopping here and supporting local. Their loyalty program is great and today they’re raising funds for a wildlife rescue. I really like that they give back to the community as well.

I’ve been buying all my pets food from global pet foods since 2020 after my interaction with this dude today clearly wanted to help the pretty girl and wouldn’t look up my file to see the food I order cause he told me they don’t sell it. Just very rude like bro I could care less about you trying to find a girl but my cat and dogs need some food homie.

Not the friendliest service. I came in Sunday late afternoon a panic (I am not from the area but was visiting my partners family). I was looking for a change of food as my pet boxer had been very ill and not eating. i wanted to swap his food in hopes he would eat something else. I was a little all over because I was unsure what to get, I mean I would of appreciated some genuine help. Eventually the woman there tried to suggest some things but gave me more an energy that I was disturbing, her saying "well i just dont' know" and seemed more annoyed with me in her shop. I decided myself and purchased a 12 can pack of wet food and 2 packets of pumpkin excited to switch him, in hopes he would eat finally.. He passed away early Monday morning. I don't know if you were just having a bad day so I wanted to give you the benefit of the doubt. In any way compassion can go along way and the ability to actually care in suggesting product and knowing your products in the shop.

I went in today to purchase dog food and get my 15 % off discount and Stacy, behind the counter, was on the phone and seemed preoccupied. Did not greet me or asked if I needed Assustance. I had to ask if she could cash me out. She cashed me out without asking for air miles card or given me the 15% discount. When I brought it to her attention, her voice was elevated and told me I was supposed to tell her. She is the owner of the Pickering and Scarborough store. She is a sour faced unfriendly 50 ish woman that can’t count, or have any niceties. . She refused to return the items and repurchase. She gave me back $6.78 instead of my rightful 15%. She just lost a customer and actually many. She had a pleasant manager working there, which I think she let go and a nice young men who resigned. There’s a new young guy. I’ve seen Stacy there a few times and she is rude and unpleasant, unhelpful, unprofessional and cheats her customers. She cheated me by $2.00 when I purchased 2 bags of dog food for $25.99 plus tax which came out to $58.74. She insisted that she only owed me $6.78. I told her that if she took the 15% off it would be less tax. She is stingy on samples too. She’s just an unpleasant person with a chip on her shoulder and does nit care about her customers. She did not even say thank you. Ugh!

Absolutely abismal, un-canadian customer service from the young man that worked there. I was having an emergency, in the rain, struggling with two cats in one big cage. This sad excuse for a human did not even bother to help me with the cats, the door, or even say sorry you're having a hard time. He just stood there watching a young lady cry and struggle even after I explained my emergency. Shame on you sir and good luck in your life

This location is open for curbside pickup! We were all out of our preferred dog treats (not for us, for the pooch) and could only find them at Global Pet Foods. It was easy to place an order online by going to the main Global Pet Foods website and then selection the location most accessible for me. At checkout you have an option of signing up for an account but you can check out as a guest too. After checking out, I didn't have to wait too long for an email that told me when the order would be ready. The store will hold the order for 48 hours after it is ready. At pickup, I just had to call the store and let them know I was there. An associate came out, I popped the trunk, and they deposited the goods. It was easy peasy and my pup was very pleased with the result.
