I've been a loyal customer of this pharmacy for the past three years, and every visit reaffirms why. From the moment you walk in, the warm welcome from the staff, especially Zainab, makes you feel right at home. The team is consistently helpful, taking the time to discuss your needs and assist you in any way they can.
I often call in for refills, and I'm always impressed by how everything is prepared and ready when I arrive. As a result, my entire family now uses this pharmacy. When my elderly mother needs medication, they promptly deliver it without hesitation. If a medication isn’t available, they quickly place a rush order to ensure we receive it on time.
I truly appreciate the exceptional service and the friendly, family-like atmosphere they provide. Thank you, Zainab and the entire team, for your outstanding care and dedication

Service refusal:
Zeinab refused to administer the pcr test, misleading me about my eligibility. Despite my dr note and health records showing I am eligible for publicly funded testing under multiple criteria, she repeatedly dismissed me, claimed I wasn't eligible. The most ridiculous part was that she claimed she needed her manager to read my medical report, which clearly states which high risk categories I am. I offered to pay for the test and she refused my credit card, saying she has "the right to refuse service" and that she only does tests for people over 70. I was told to "google places" or to find another testing location or go to hospital. When I told her she was behaving unprofessionally, she then claimed she had no test pickup. She refused to give me the manager's contact information.
I will file the pharmacist college complaint asap and contact the Ministry of Health.
She gave conflicting health information and could have prevented me from seeking care elsewhere, which is dangerous and unethical.
Update: I went to "Pharmacy Zen" on Lawrence Ave, they did the PCR test without delay or complaint on Saturday and had results Monday.

I had an exceptional experience at Durham drug store. The staff were incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and courteous. They took the time to answer all of my questions regarding my medications, and I truly appreciated their attention to detail. The pharmacy was clean, well-organized, and I received my prescription promptly. I highly recommend Durham drug store for anyone looking for a reliable and patient-centered pharmacy. I will definitely be returning for all of my future medication needs!

What makes Durham Drugs stand out?? Zaina went out of her way to locate my cancer medicine from the manufacturer because it was out of stock at all pharmacies. The generic brand gave me too many side effects but Durham her Drugs were able to bring me the brand that gave me less side effects.

so apparently there’s no clinic on Wednesday’s ? Walked in about 9:35, they open 9:30 & when asked for clinic they said no clinic today… no signs nothing online stating that. First & last time I’ll try this place.
